can't believe it's almost over… can't believe i've made almost 30 rendered outfits. whoa, that's wild. i barely knew blender when i started, i had just finished my second model and now, bam! i still have a long way to go, but i never thought i'd get this far in the first place.

making this outfit took me back to middle school and uniforms! the exact same colors, too. short shorts are not a school-approved clothing item, though. … or are they?

i'm proud of the bows, i think they look really good. that said, good god that lace material nearly shat my computer

this sculpt is deceptively simple, but i'm happy with all the ruffles. this marks the first time everything "worked like it should".

i really enjoyed making this cloud cape. surprisingly, a snow texture actually gave me the look i was going for!

today's not a good day. pretty sick and spending the day in bed, but i got it all done even if i'm not pleased with it. fail faster.

making the little "bunny" ears translucent is a personal touch

created seams for UV painting all to not do it in the end lol. i know this is a type of style… like the cutesy injured girl type. not really my style, but i know i've seen it before, just don't know the name.

we're at the halfway point! i feel pretty good about this challenge so far. i've learned a lot. this time around i actually put my mind to texture painting, which was done half in blender and half in CSP once i got it set up. i really liked making the bunched up sleeves. the color palette is a little much for me, though.

i'm actually pretty passionate about old forms of dress, so i tried to do a few tweaks to the design of this. i think the ribbing was meant to indicate lace, but i went with flounces instead and some ruffles, with some pointed lace around the collar. i imagine the light green blouse is actually an undershirt/chemise, but to keep it a one-day make i decided not to go all out on the corset-chemise-blouse-bolero layering. this is more my comfort, so i was pretty happy to make it.
