When it can’t to editing I really wanted to make it fun but also edgy. I stared with creating glitches within the beats of the song to make my transition. After I did that I added an image of a glitch to make it stand out.

After I finished my transitions I decided to use a loading graphic to start the film, to make it look more like an arcade game.

For my actual footage I ended up changing the colour balance on every clip. I wanted to make the background a bit darker and then the colours a lot bolder and more vibrant.

As you can see in the clip form my shoot Mia is in it instead on my model Olivia, this was because she dropped out last minute. This was frustrating because I had planned my outfit around her and order everything to fit her. Luckily Mia was the same size so she has to be in it last minute. Which I am so thankful for as without her I would have been screwed.

This is one of my favourite videos from my shoot, I really like how the neon lights shine down on my models. I feel like it really shows of the colours in the outfits, it shows everyone how virbrent the clothes are.

Timetable for my shoot day

The day it’s self ran pretty smoothly, I didn’t want to stay so regimented eight the timetable. But it did help when it came to the types of shots I wanted, it allowed me to stay focused throughout the day. Also I was so glad that the people that owed the amusements were soo helpful, they really let m eod what I want. Which was such a big help because I didn’t feel like I had any pressure to rush anything.

These are the three models I have booked for my shoot, I w aged to find slightly edger people. Who looked like they would wear Jaded London.

I made a shot list for my filming day to make sure that I keep track of everything, this allowed me to be more organised when shooting. This list allowed me to stick to my storyboard, which then helped me achieve the vision I had in my head.

Styling mood boards for my enhancement project, which is a collaboration with fashion photography students. I have been asked to style their fashion film for their next unit. Their concept was loosely based on the modern day Bonnie and Clyde, they pictured their female model and the mastermind of the pair. So I decided I needed to create something strong but femine, to represent that power she would have over him. When it came to the male models dress, I really wanted to put a twist on the style of a 1920s gangster. Launching him into modern day, something that showed his riches that he was the face of the two.

These are so pictures of the clothes I have styled for my shoot. I wanted them to really represent the brand, so I brought most of the items form their site. I wanted them to represent current street style, but to still be very youthful and colourful. When Kim Howells came in for a styling workshop I asked her questions about how I should style my film,and she encouraged me to used lots of colour as that’s what the brand is known for. So I decided to pair the bright clothes I brought form jaded London with slightly muted clothes form the other sites, this to me will make the jaded clothes stand out.

These are pictures of my brand ideny prism and swot analysis, by doing this I have been able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my brand. This has helped me find a reason for my concept, by helping show me the gaps in their company.

Jaded London new Christmas campaign video. Out of all of their fashion films this one is my favourite, it really fits my idea behind my own film. It showcases the freedom they feel in these clothes, and it shows how they uses the company to express themselves. Also I love how they go between shots of the models having fun, to pan shots of their outfits. This has helped me decide what type of shots I would like in my film.

This editing style of this film is something I would love to incorporate into my editing. The way it looks like the photographer is spying on Kate moss, allows the viewers to feel as if she is her true self. This is something I want to convae in my film, I want the models to be their true self’s.

What I like about this fashion film is that they again uses this 80s glam rock style throughout. I wasn’t to use his yep of editing style and maybe encorpate the make up slightly,and I love the extrem Grace Jones style red smokey eye.

I like this static overlay on the arcade pictures, i would love to uses a bit of this in my editing. It really gives if that old time 80s retro theme, that I’m trying to create throughout my film.

For the music I am thinking of using heavy synth based beasts for my tracks. I found this free copyright track for my film, and maybe add some arcade sound effects as well.

Here is a mood board of some meek up ideas I have, I am really toying with the idea of having bright neon eye makeup and light skin. I want the feature to be one the girls eyes, but for them to have Dewey skin.
