Visiting || Wally and Brendan
The mentioning of contests defiantly made Brendan excited, you could see it in his eyes. “Alright then! Let’s go!” With that being said, Wally turned and began to lead the way toward the Contest Hall. Once Wally’s pokemon noticed they were leaving, they all jumped on him, making him lose his balance for moment. He chuckled, then picked up Ralts while the other two jumped on his shoulders.
"It seems like there are always contests going on, so we could probably watch one today." He always enjoyed watching the contests, plus it would give Brendan an idea of what they were like. It wasn’t long before they reached to Contest Hall. They stood outside for minuet staring at it, "Here we are!"
When they entered, there was a only a few people making pokeblock. It didn’t look much was going on at the moment. “Then there are those days where not much in happening, heh.”
"But we can always ask."
Brendan couldn't help but laugh when he saw Wally's reaction to the mostly-dead Contest hall. He felt a little bad for doing so, but-- the expression was simply priceless! He smiled after he'd finished and reached forward to pat him on the shoulder, showing he understood.
"It'd be pretty cool to watch one," he remarked casually, lifting a finger up for Kipper (who sat on his head) to paw at. The other Pokemon had been withdrawn since otherwise things were a little too crowded, though, Linus insisted on staying on his shoulder.
Curiously Brendan decided since he was the curious one that he'd be the one to question the receptionist, and he went up and started a casual conversation with her. He was handed a Pokeblock Case not long after, and it was only then that he was told he could start entering the Normal-rank contests.
When he came back over to Wally he looked pretty satisfied, tugging the strap of his bag around so he could get to one of the pockets. "She said they don't have any contests today. Buuuut I was able to get that Pokeblock Case, and now I'm registered so I can start competing at Contests everywhere else!"
Definitely a win-win situation, he thought.
