unpopular opinion i guess?? that people might wanna blast me for but if you "love" curly then you lack media literacy/missed the entire point of mouthwashing and how those who enable/turn a blind eye/choose inaction against abusers are just as much a villain and will likely eventually suffer at the hands of their violent "friend" as much as the women that the friend abused. Curly ALSO suffering Jimmy's abuse does not change the fact that he chose not to help anya by locking Jimmy away or even just letting Anya sleep in the medbay where the door has a lock from now on or literally anything.

another wraith headcanon below, lwky spoilers for wraiths lore if you haven't read it already

i don't think Philip likes to cry. Sure, i believe he's emotional and sensitive definitely- but i believe he doesn't like to cry. I think if he cries, the feelings come rushing back of being a child, vulnerable and afraid while everyone he knows gets taken from him, and i think if he lets himself cry then again he has failed Funaya and his only solace/friends since the lost of his grandmother. If he cries then he is weak, something he wouldn't ever allow himself to be again after setting those mercenaries alight, and if he cries then he is complicit in being Azarov's pawn, reaping the souls of hundreds-- thousands? He doesn't even know how many. I think, that if Wraith cries, then something has truly broken him to the extent that those events did. that's also why the bad ending for Wraith in Hooked on You is devastatingly heart-wrenching, and I appreciate greatly the absolutely messy sobbing that the artist drew for him in that ending frame.
