Initially, the goddess was going to walk past The Deep End without a second thought. After all, it looked almost gloomy in a way! Perhaps it was something about the paint.

The minute she stepped in, she knew that wasn’t the case. 

“Something's dark here, something’s devoid of personality and light....Ah, found it!”

Grinning cheekily at the grim looking brunette, Gaia waved a little too enthusiastically. Everything about her was bright and lively, down to the color of her hair.

“Dum da da daa~! ♪ Do you give every girl a welcome this warm? I can hardly contain the beating in my chest!”

Gaia had been absolutely delighted to learn that her favorite brother was also residing on the island. Especially when she knew he was stuck in the form of a human. Oh, this was rich. Prime real estate for proper brother harassment.

Sneaking up behind him, Gaia cheerily chirped into his ear, holding her braid across his eyes like a blindfold.

“Oh, Ignis, it’s good to see you’re looking just as awful as always!”

Something New || Gaia and Cain

When she had come to Arcadia, Gaia had already known of her sister’s presence on the island. She’d been delighted with the opportunity to stand at Mariel’s side again, and confidently took up work in the church without really asking permission. That was just her nature.

Today, she’d become entertained with cleaning the stained glass, and did so with a soft hum. Loving light, she would occasionally stop cleaning to admire the way the colored glass shone over her skin. She quickly noticed the focused eyes of someone with blue tresses flowing languidly over their shoulders, however, and turned to look at them.

“Are you gonna stare at me all day, human?”
