Tepu is a pictogram set which is inspired in modern iconography. It is a font with three different versions. Black: white icons on a black background, Regular: black icons on a white background, and Outline: pictograms made with constant thickness.

Tepu is a typeface best suited for information design, maps, user interface, instructions and educational purposes. Each set contains 369 icons.

Like many of Worthington’s typefaces, Voltage is evocative of a milieu or era. Here, we see the metal lettering on automobiles of the past—with their retro takes on a bright future–and those emblems of an optimistic, hardworking period. Its overall regularity references a time when the machine was king—the late days of the Industrial Age. Imagine vintage instructions on signs or paper; they may be created by machinery or by hand, yet both have that industrial sensibility. We sense visions in the 1950s—and earlier—of what the Nuclear Age would look like. Voltage calls to mind gas stations, machinists, receipts at machine shops, trips to the soda fountain at the drugstore, shopping at the five and dime. Yet, in its twists and small irregularities, we see vestiges of hand-painted signage, the rivets in beloved, old, worn blue jeans, the touch of the ”common man” who, alongside women, built America

Fonts of the Month: July.

As usual, this blog brings you the best fonts released in the past month. The summer bring us very high quality fonts, and it seems that the king of the trend still are the hand made fonts, the proof is the True North typeface by Cultivated Mind which was the best selling font in this month. Woolen by Magpie Paper Works.

Woolen is a font inspired by freshly fallen snow and swags of mistletoe. Her italicized letters are based upon a type specimen by Jean Jannon, originally published by the Imprimerie Royale in 1641. Many of the capital letters are decorated with small sprouts of mistletoe, though they can also be spring leaves, depending on how you use the font! This font is a subtle and organic update to a classic serif typeface - she is warm and historical without being too trendy.

Fonts of the Month: June. Free fonts and many discounts on sans serif.

We are in the half of the year, a huge amount of fabulous fonts has been released this year. This past month of June wasn’t the exception and even go too far in the typography community, as big amount of fonts were released. I think I will make the part 2 of the best fonts of this months because this short list isn’t enough to show you great new typefaces that deserve a mention.

The master Rene Bieder release a new typeface named Choplin, which goes directly to the top of the list of hot new fonts of myfonts. Libertad by Roberto Díaz (designer of Quiroga) is also one of my favourites this month. Good News Sans by Kyle Benson is another remarkable typeface this month.
