unpopular opinion maybe, and this comes from a diehard chelsea supporter, but reece james doesn't deserve to be a part of chelsea this season. i love and support that man with all my heart but after all his injuries from last season i don't think he's gonna be fit to play, he even had a setback now and it doesn't look good. chelsea should consider selling him or loaning him out. we need someone stronger to captain our club.

how do i stop spiralling because i love football as a game but everytime i start respecting the player he turns out to be a misogynistic creep

hun the best thing you can do is to never respect a player as a person, unless it’s messi but i’m sure he’s done something fucked up too, but to respect them on the pitch for what they do for their team and country.

take thiago silva for example, he’s done some fucked up shit but i will always respect him as a player.
