Intro~Today’s society holds many expectations for men and women. Often subconsciously, gender roles affect how we act. From a young age, we are taught to adhere to these gender roles. Boys play with trucks and girls play with dolls. While these social constructs impact almost every aspect of our lives, they are especially relevant when discussing mental health.

Back in the day, young men had to look and act manly and had to play with toys such as cars and fire trucks which represented masculinity and had to act tough and heartless, girls had to look and act girly, they played with dolls and played house which represented gentle and innocence.

People tend to keep things to themselves and not talk to others because they are afraid of being judged. They think that they can deal with their pain on their own. If they did get the job they would be living in fear because they would be in a position where they're surrounded by only men and having their boss being a sexist they might never get any opportunities such as promotions, raises and benefits and hours. They’d be treated unfairly and unprofessionally due to their gender.

Personally i think skin color shouldn't matter because its about the inside not out, people need to realize that ethnicity does not effect personality,meaning it does not define you as a person.Just because you have a certain type of skin color doesn't mean that  you should restrict yourself to only that color when seeking a spouse.[

Some mental conditions can be treated or contained more effectively such as depression, anxiety etc.. more than others because they're not as serious. The more severe ones such as psychosis, bipolar and schizophrenia cannot be treated as easily because they may require hospital treatment and may result in loosing one’s sense of reality.

I would feel terrified and worried. I would immediately call the cops and keep in contact with her either by text, call, etc. I would try to calm her down and distract her mind from that idea by engaging her into another conversation or stay on the same subject but keep telling her that she shouldn’t end her life so quickly and that everything is going to be okay. I would compliment her and tell her what I truly see in her,tell her about all the great memories we had and that we will eventually have if she doesn't commit suicide.

Since parents are distracted by electronics, kids become ignored and not cared for which is a result of  behavior problems, including sadness and withdrawal, hyperactivity and temper tantrums.The family becomes disconnected and moments are lost/wasted because of these addictive devices.The family becomes so engaged that they miss out on life. Family members start to isolate themselves, where they become distant with each other to the point where the dinner table ends up empty.
