Weekend pants doubling for work pants today @sanctuaryclothing @missselfridge (at New York, New York)
This summer has been all about drinking, eating and not giving a fuck about pretty much anything serious. Given my lack of responsibility, I've broken/lost all the sunglasses I've ever owned. As summer approached, I really went all out with partying and lost my favorite pair of Illesteva. I brought out my pair of trusty Ray Bans, but obviously became drunk and they ran away from me. Then I decided it was time to purchase a new pair; time to treat myself. I bought a pair from Le Specs, which caused me to really get excited since they are shipped from a far away land and took almost two weeks to get to me. The Le Specs arrived and I was so fucking cool. They were gold with gold lenses. I was Beyoncé. Then I went out with coworkers drinking and I may have made a detour at some man's/boy's apartment and I woke up without sunglasses again. At this point I was getting angry with myself, mostly because I just wanted a cool pair of sunglasses to wear and I was sick of spending so much money and waking up with nothing. I decided to just wear a really sad pair from my collection that I've had for 5+ years and also a cheap pair that I purchased at Wolffer and resembled Summer in a Bottle. Someone stomped on my cheap wine sunglasses during a drinking event. That's when I realized I need to get it together and order a nice pair of sunglasses and remember to put the sunglasses in their pouch, even when blacked out. After that rant, I can share with you that I looked on a lot of websites and I hate to have what everyone else has, so I ordered a pair of Krewe sunglasses. One, I love New Orleans and I could definitely use some Nola spirit in NYC to carry with me. Two, the sunglasses are all amazing and celebs love them. The DailyMail is my bible that I read religiously, by the hour. THEN I FIND OUT THAT KREWE IS HAVING A FRIENDS AND FAMILY EVENT IN MY CITY (NYC). I would prefer if nobody went so I could preserve being a rare species that wears Krewe around NYC that I see, but everyone should go because their sunglasses are very attractive and, most importantly, make the wearer appear as Beyoncé.

Recommendations for daytime weddings with work people. Champagne not included.
The town of Yountville, CA is known for its boutique aesthetic. It is also home to a number of Napa's prominent restaurants, such as French Laundry and Bouchon. Hotel Yountville, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed in. Once you arrive, you are immediately greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff which are available to deliver every wine lovers' needs at a whim. Prior to our arrival, we reached out to the concierge for restaurant and activity recommendations, and Peter responded in great detail and provided us with a variety of activities and vineyards to visit, in addition to local restaurant recommendations. Given that I was traveling with a fellow wine lover, our main purpose of the trip was to visit 2-3 vineyards per day, embark on a cave tour, and eat delicious food. Once you enter Hotel Yountville, you will find a beautiful and welcoming entrance that offers a small bar, concierge space, and a lounge area with a fireplace. The hotel also offers flavored water at your disposal for your stay. The small bar in the entrance of the hotel is great for a pre- or post-dinner cocktails, and the fireplace is great for chilly evenings. You walk through the lobby entrance of the hotel and enter a garden area with a roaring fire pit, fountain, and more seating at your leisure. Another great space for relaxing over morning coffee or a nightcap before bed. All of the rooms at Hotel Yountville are very large by hotel standards outside of major cities. It's essentially a small apartment by NYC standards. Each room is accessible by entering from the outside near the parking lot, and you are immediately drawn into the beauty and gorgeous furnishings to make you feel right at home. The bathrooms are massive, and offer a jacuzzi tub/shower combo, separate toilet room, and large dressing area. There is a walk-in closet that is designed for all of your favorite pieces in your wardrobe. The main bedroom area is very spacious and the beds face a fireplace, and open to a small patio. All of the furnishings are fairly new, and the room is immaculate and clean. You won't be disappointed. Hotel Yountville has a pool area with a large jacuzzi and bar with outdoor seating. The hot tub is seated directly behind a fire pit, and service is constant if you're in need of a drink or any food items. Again, the flavored water is plentiful at the pool. Need to stay hydrated to survive. The restaurant at Hotel Yountville is directly adjacent to the pool, but you also have the option to dine by the pool if you prefer to be outside. Hotel Yountville is perfect for couples, large groups of couples, best friends, bachelorettes/bachelors, or anyone that enjoys luxury in a modern and classy boutique setting. The concierge could not be more helpful, and they will set up all of your travel needs prior to your arrival and continue to provide anything you may need during your stay. I wouldn't recommend eating dinner at Hotel Yountville, given all of the fabulous choices in town, but breakfast and lunch, or snacks to soak up all of the wine you've consumed, are great options during your stay. The pool is very peaceful in the morning, and I enjoyed a breakfast by the pool on a lounge chair, which was fabulous. Even in the afternoon when the pool is at capacity, there is still plenty of room and you will never feel that it is overcrowded.
It is going to be another scorcher today in NYC, with humidity of 80% and no end in sight. In light of what I imagine Hell to feel like, I'm wearing the lightest clothes possible with plenty of pockets for air to seep into my sweaty corpse. There's also only so many weeks left to wear summer whites. I also need to purify my body after the endless amounts of rosé I've consumed this summer, so in honor of the name of this dress I'll pray that osmosis will work. Magali Pascal Dress Tory Burch Flats
Perfect interview outfit or for #boss Fridays @liketoknow.it @theoutnet @gianvitorossi @missoni @shopstyle #liketkit #tworeds #corporatecouture #nyc (at New York, New York)
Ready for the weekend, like whoa. I've started preparing for Fall in my mind, dreaming about sweaters that I can hide my body in and leggings for days. This dress is perfect for Summer to Fall transition. Even though Fridays are casual days at the office, especially during these last few weeks of summer, this outfit will kick off Friday in the most productive way. Missoni Dress Gianvito Rossi Pumps
This outfit is not fit for binge watching Netflix and wasting my day on the couch, so off to work I go. #liketkit #tworeds #corporatecouture @liketoknow.it @michaelkors @prada (at New York, New York)
In honor of binge-watching Gossip Girl all weekend, this outfit is inspired by Blair and Serena. If only my life title was socialite/philanthropist; how free I could be.
Another frivolous summer weekend has gone by, which means we are now a week away from celebrating America. For most corporate offices, this week will be a snoozefest and you'll need pep anywhere you can get it. We'll start off the workweek strong and slowly dip into more casual attire as we approach the long weekend, but always GirlBoss apropos. Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Dress BR Heeled Sandals Joie Tweed Jacket
Pre-weekend jitters happening over here. Cheers to dance parties, solo karaoke in the privacy of your own home and endless rosé. If you can't let your freak flag fly, then what's the point. Girl Boss Tip of the Day: Don't be afraid to be forward and aggressive in the workplace, especially when fighting for your own career. What man would sit on the sidelines? Michael Kors Blouse Rebecca Taylor Twill Pant Prada Pumps
All that I am missing right now is the sweet sound of waves and a splash of rosé in my glass. The workweek can definitely feel like it drags on forever and the best way to get over that is to dress up in a fun outfit that makes you feel like Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman, sans the hooker clothes since not office apropos. Girl Boss Tip of the Day: Be your own Pretty Woman. Hatch Blazer Alice + Olivia Dress Banana Republic Heels
Obsessed with this Kate Moss designed shirt dress for Equipment. The perfect casual, yet work appropriate, dress to remind you of warm weekend nights spent under the stars with a glass of rosé. Sorry to make Mondays the bane of your existence. Love love love these Isabel Marant flats that can easily transition to other workweek outfits or for that stargazing I'm reminding you of again. Joyeux Lundi! Equipment Dress Isabel Marant Flats
Thursdays in the summer are the best, since summer Fridays really make it feel like Thursday is your Friday. The end is almost near. This dress pairs perfectly with the fun print of these Dolce & Gabbana flats for the end of the work week. You can easily transition this outfit to drinks after work and still slay at the bar.
