“You asked me why I had that look on my face, as though a shadow had fallen across its sun-drenched landscape, heavy with premonition, dark with revelation.”
be good to people for no reason
are the people you’re supporting, supporting you?
The body is a work of art The body is a temple The body is a home And here I am burning it all to the ground.

The amount of notes this doesn’t have bothers me…
there is so much beauty in road trips tbh like driving past neon lights and looking at the stars and getting out of the car to get gas and snacks at 2am and driving past red rocks and fresh air and seeing the moon while listening to music that makes you feel a certain way idk UGH

From Graham Nash’s Wild Tales:
“…on March 15, after our show in Ottawa, Canada, I went to a party thrown by our record company’s local rep at our hotel. It was the usual corporate affair , impersonal and aimless. I grabbed a ginger ale and was about to make my escape when I noticed a striking woman sitting in the corner by herself. Absolutely beautiful: great face, long blonde hair cut in Cleopatra bangs, extremely short pale blue dress, sapphire eyes… So I shouldered over and introduced myself.
“I know who you are,” she said slyly. “That’s why I’m here.”
Thus began the relationship of Joni Mitchell and Graham Nash on this day in 1968. Intense, passionate and ultimately tragic, the relationship produced such songs as “Our House”, “Willy”, “Blue”, “Simple Man”, and “River”. It also inspired mutual friend Neil Young’s “Only Love Can Break Your Heart”.
But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start
Yes, only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart?
