Cohabitation

“How many Regional Championships have you won Smythe?” Hunter responded evenly, not even bothered by anything the other was saying. He had every intention on staying at Dalton, and he didn’t care if the boys liked him. He didn’t need friends, he needed to not go home. And right now that meant leading these boys to a victory, and winning is what he did best. He was just fine on his own.
“More than you I’d wager.” He responded using his usual cocky tone, though he was absolutely bluffing. “Just because I couldn’t get us a Nationals victory last year doesn’t mean I’m competent. Far from it. And I’m not about to let myself be pushed aside by you.” He countered. He remained oblivious to the other’s true motivations. “If you’re seriously gonna stick around, we’ll just need to find a way not to want to kill each other. I have a feeling this might be hard.”
