Yeah. Not liking the designs for the toys. The flat faces make them look more like Equestria Girls in the head but the pony bodies are more horsey? Eh. I may be very selective with these g5s just like with Ponylife.

Bonus; we get a male figure in the first wave, rather like g2. Although I have a new appreciation for g2 these days, I did NOT like them at all when they first came out and bought most of my collection on clearance when they were discontinued (even then I sold most away at a garage sale). I still do have all the accessories and a few select ponies and playsets.

While I was going through my fashion doll bin, sorting out accessories and transferring everything around I found a great little tiara for Diamond Tiara!

Oh I have found my Fairy Tail Birds! That’s lovely. I thought maybe they were buried in the bottom of a pony bin but no they were in the fashion dolls tote. They need a serious cleaning.

In my mythology they were in the same universe as MLP but in a separate valley, beyond the mountains.

Out of all the Pony Life products the “crystal” rings are the best, even if there is no way to tell what you’re getting. The abstract, crisp edges actually help the exaggerated chibi design. I wish the blind bag mini ponies for the Crystal Empire looked like this.

As a random side note I’ll also be grabbing ahold of one of my sideblogs and making that a random toy blog. I collect all kinds of 80s toys including Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, He-Man/She-Ra and random more modern ones like Monster High and LEGO.
