{The quirk marriage was explained. It was said that his father MADE his mother's family agree using wealth and fame. He says how his mother was always crying, explained about how he got the burn. And he talked about how not using the fire was his revenge.

This was all said to Midoriya. But it does show that Bakugo overheard the conversation. Reading between the lines of everything that was said, it is pretty obvious that there was some abuse, but Shouto never outright said it, other than ‘Raising me as a hero who could exceed All might, just to fulfill his own ambitions. I hate it! Being no more than a tool for that human garbage.’)

{Totally random... But I was scanning through old chapters to validate another head canon I was going to post, when I stumbled upon this:

Now... I’m like 97% sure that’s just a mistake in translation... Since it seems to be pretty clear that Eri is his granddaughter. But just... for a moment... Take a minute to humour me, as I imagine if ‘Eri’ was the mom, and ended up rewinding her husband, and accidentally rewound herself into a child like state.

If that were the case then she'd be a Transformer

{Actually, it’s quite possible to label her as a transformer. Not only because of the horn changing with her power. As stated by Midoriya:

“And we learned one more thing. Eri’s quirk power is emitted from the horn on her forehead. Apparently, as heat builds up, the horn shrinks more. And that’s why it’s just a bump on her head now.”

But she could actually be a transformer not just because the change in her own body. It’s known that Transformation-type quirks generally affect the user exclusively. But we’ve already seen an exception to this, that being the Meatball quirk.

It’s possible that Eri’s could be labelled as a Transformation-type, not just because of the horn, but because she is causing alterations to another living creature, just like the meatball quirk does. I mean, it’s possible for it to be a hybrid of Emitter and Transformation.

But I’d say Emitter is more about releasing substances, or altering materials around them.}

{I’m going to be making a subtle side note here.

Halloween in Japan is a little bit different than it is in western society. Japan is a very reserved country. There is a strong dislike of being a burden or inconvenience to someone else. As such Trick or Treating isn’t exactly common place there.

The main purpose for Halloween is more of a commercialized holiday. Yes there’s dressing up, and spooky decorations and what have you. But the holiday is more directed towards adults than children.

So for the most part, any interactions in regards to Halloween, that include trick or treating (unless your character is from a different nationality) will be met with severe confusion, and reservation.}

It didn’t explain too much. Crimson hues shifted over the small creature before her. Fingers slowly unclasping from her hair. It was only when she was in front of the fluffy looking animal, that she lowered herself, to sit on the backs of her feet, hands now on her knees. Dress up? Get candy? It still didn’t explain much. Nor did the ‘Poromas’. “But... you can dress how you want at any time... And eat candy whenever.” Why there was a special holiday for it, or why it was a spooky holiday, she wasn’t sure. “And you can get snuggles any time too.” She added to the creature.

“I still don’t get it...” The soft voice called out, brows furrowing at her own exclamation. The whole thing was beyond her understanding. Hands tugged at some stray hair that was falling in front of her chest, before wringing it tightly in her hands. “I don’t get this Hall O’ Weine...” Dressing up? Creepy decorations? Why? Was there really a point to any of it?

What about this to discuss/think over? With how Eri's Quirk works, do you think she may grow another horn? Over time at lest to help better control her abilities but also doubling it since there's two horns to use

To be honest… I hope she doesn’t grow another horn. I don’t feel like the horn as important of a part as we’re lead to believe. I feel like it does show the strength of her quirk and kind of where she stands on how powerful it is. But I think that that the horn is just a by product.

It’s just my guess that main aspect to activating and controlling her quirk is likely related to her mental or emotional state. In my opinion the reason she has been unable to learn any control over her quirk (first off she’s never been taught) is because of her environment. The one time we’ve seen it activate it, she’s under extreme stress.

We know that the quirk only works on ‘humans’ according to Aizawa. I kind of lean towards the belief that it works only on living creatures. Since when Chisaki realized what her powers were he was examining mice. I’ve seen theories that her quirk releases as soon as she’s not touching someone. I’d like to argue that not being true, and that her rewinding someone is actually a permanent thing. For example, there’s the potential possibility of keeping someone young for as long as she lives by continuously rewinding their body as they age.

Chisaki also mentioned that she could potentially rewind people to the state of monkeys. So I believe that it’s a permanent state, until time fixes itself.

The horns, there’s no sign of a second horn. The first one, even when she has next to no powers is a lump, so I believe that she won’t gain another horn. I feel like her power is extremely strong as it is, it would be frightening to see the power doubled.

As for control. I think once she is emotionally stable and given time she’ll be able to control her quirk on her own. And the horn will simply be a marker for the energy she has stored up.
