I would lay down my sword for you. I would change my nature and go against everything i've known. I would resist the easy way out of solving my problems. I would give up the adrenaline of battle to stay by your side and make tea instead. I'm not sure I know who I am without a weapon in my hand because I've had to fight for so long but for you I'm willing to try and figure this out.

It must be hard. To put down your weapon that's protected you for so long. It's allowed you to stay alive it's kept you from getting hurt--physically and mentally. Because you've never had to worry about a real relationship if you think you'll be dead at the next battle. And you feel naked without it and it feels like you're ripping off an extension of yourself. Are you even whole without it? Are you worthy of being loved if you can't prove it by risking your life? And yet they've found someone who's asking them for something much harder than dying in battle on their behalf. They've found someone who wants them to live. And that's much more terrifying.

Evermore is a sequel to the original Cinderella Phenomenon game and takes place two years after the good endings from the prequel. It is $9.99 and, currently, only available to play on itch.io. For those who are just finding the game, here’s a full breakdown of the demo features-

A 87,000 word script!

A story that starts in childhood and progresses to future points in the characters’ lives. The demo includes multiple scenes from kid-aged and teen-aged times.

A custom character creation screen where you get to decide all the physical details of your MC as well as their name and pronouns (he, she, or they).

The main love interest, Cove Holden, changes based on his experiences. In terms of personality, interests, skills, and sense of style.

A custom Cove creator screen, which allows you to design your own look for the LI instead of using the choice-generated version.

Many, many dozens of choices to determine how your MC reacts/behaves and how scenes play out.

Gorgeous art, charming partial voice acting, and a lovely original soundtrack.

Simple and fun mini-games to actually play with Cove! A round of tic-tac-toe or hangman, specifically.

Our Life is a very comfortable game where you can just have a nice time being who you wanna be. I hope returning and new players alike will enjoy what it has to offer!

So I just finished playing through this demo =D I’m really impressed; everything in it except for the music was made by a single person!!

The art is so incredibly charming, I’m so in love. The designs for all the characters are beautiful and unique and just, so good!! The GUI design is simple, clean, and attractive! 

The premise is interesting too; it’s not every day that you see an otome where... you are helping the boys get with people besides the MC. But based on the little seen, it’s not difficult to imagine the personified instruments and their musicians in a relationship~ It’ll be great fun once it’s completed, I’m sure!

And the MC is a bit of fresh air if you’ve only been reading Japanese VN, cuz she’s full of sass and does not take any perceived bullshit! That said, she is sliiightly unlikable to me, due to her inability to see that her attitude was what drove her friends away... But hopefully that will be mentioned and dealt with over the course of the completed story~

I do have one minor issue with it, however: the writing probably should have been beta’d by somebody else before being implemented. There were enough misspellings that I was distracted by them while playing through. And the pacing felt, a little fast for me? There was a point where apparently there had been a time skip to the next day, but it wasn’t very apparent until later. That probably was just an issue on my end, though.

But yes if there’s anybody still following me over here, this game is adorable and the demo’s absolutely worth a play through! C=
