2013 Project 52: [40/52] Checking In

I haven't posted a self-portrait on here yet, so I figured I would "check in" and do so. It took me so many tries to get this shot! I don't really know what I'm gong for here, maybe something mysterious?

You can see my right taper peeking on the left, as well as the shaved part of the right side of my head. I'm toying a little more with body mods and the like.

I also can't believe there are only twelve weeks left in the year (i.e. only 12 more photos until this project is finished). I have changed so much in such a short period of time.

Hello!

Thank you! I don’t shave my legs because I find it to be bothersome, costly, and time consuming. I’m also really fond of my leg hair. I also see my not shaving as a body positive/feminist statement.

Sometimes I’ll shave my labia, but other than that, I don’t shave any of my body hair off.

2013 Project 52: [37/52] They/Them/Their

Ever since I started becoming more involved with the Center (i.e. the Center for Gender, Sexuality & Activism at BU), I've been meeting such lovely people; this is a picture of one of the people that I've met through the Center this year. Their name is Lennie and they were pretty much the icing on the cake of one of the best weekends of my life. I'm looking forward to hanging out with them more in the future, as well as all of the other cool people that I've met through the Center.
