I absolutely adore my digital electronics teacher. (not like that you creep)
He's a retired electrical engineer who's also my high school robotics team coach. He's goated enough that after a robotics competition consisting of 2 12+ hour days he let me and my friends skip his class (we're in his 1st period) and didn't assign work that day. this is all besides the most hilarious part.
In digital electronics when we learn about a new concept we do a short little history thing about who invented. An example fun fact is that boolean is named after George Boole, the inventor of boolean algebra, he's a curmudgeonly old man from 19th century England.
As you can imagine it's a bunch of old white men. My teacher, also an old white man, has started a counter. We are on about 7 or 8 old white nerdy men.
There's so much more to this guy. He doesn't get mad if you burn out a breadboard, probably because he's killed way to many. When you do, you have to put your name on it in sharpie, and then he hangs it on the wall. Public humiliation is a better teacher than many.
I'm less than a quarter in and already checking what other classes he teaches to get more next year.
