Man, these Lunchtime Serenades just get later and later. Of course, I ate later, too. Hope your lunches were tastier than mine. I've eaten oatmeal twice today.

I heard this song Friday on my way home, and I realized that I had not posted a serenade in a few days. It was then decided that this song would be the next one, and here it is. I need to remind myself that everything is a blessing - even the crappy parts of life provide an opportunity for me to do something differently and do it better.

Also, happy belated birthday to Jill Scott!

I'm blessed because I have people in my life who always let me be myself and love me all the time.

I refreshed my cached station this morning, and this song popped up. Sunshine and this song made for a happy commute. I'm ridiculously busy these days, and it's not going to let up anytime soon. The next 6 weeks on this Tumblr are going to be lean on words and heavy on music, but that's what gets people here in the first place, so I don't think it's a big deal.

I hope your lunch was great - mine involved pizza with a lot of bacon on it, which I promptly picked off. Unfortunately, doing that left me with very few toppings on the crust, and two very messy hands.
