Using a franking machine with Royal Mail continues to save postage costs
From 29 March 2016:
• Royal Mail Mailmark® franking continues to offer the best franking prices, with the cost of sending a 1st Class Letter remaining at 51p and the cost of sending a 2nd Class Letter starting from 37p
• Using a Standard or SMART franking machine, your business could save over 17% on postage when sending a 1st Class Letter, or 27% when sending a 2nd Class Letter compared with Stamps.

Royal Mail have now issued confirmation of their approved price changes for 2016. The Royal Mail changes will be effective from TUESDAY 29 MARCH, 2016 and will continue to sustain the postage discounts available to franking customers – an outstanding postage saving of over 33% per letter.

On Sunday 17th May the girls at FP will be running the race for life in Rochester Kent and over the last few days we have been taking part in 'Pink day' and 'Bake a cake day' here at FP.
The girls so far have raised over £600 for cancer charities.

We have put together a Christmas video for 2014 which we thoroughly enjoyed doing here at FP, its for a good cause and the guys here love getting involved.
We blogged back in December 2013 about the vehicle tax change in 2014 and that day is now here (is blogged a word?) I have come up with an alternative way to display my tax disc, a 1970 replica with my birth month and year and the town i was born in 'Gillingham, Kent' i am sure however that there will be some other clever webbers that will have similar thoughts and come up with some wacky alternatives (is webbers a word?).
All i used was a template from the internet and some basic Photoshop skills and a half decent printer, there are companies online though that will print them authentically for you, its just that i'm tight :))

The best man, or woman...
General consensus dictates that we should or in some cases we are living in a politically correct society, now this is all well and good except someone should have informed the global media corporations of this country! Whilst watching the adverts on T.V. I notice that the adverts for Green flag breakdown e.g. still always portray the mechanic as a man and also that the adverts for Johnson’s baby wipes always target ‘mums’, now you and I know that these are both stereotypical roles even in 2014.
At least some media has got it right, another T.V. program was ‘The Watermen’ which portrayed the working lives of two women tackling drainage issues and even the customers that they visited were surprised!!
This is something that we don’t even give consideration to at FP, we have women and girls in our warehouse and logistics departments alongside the majority of our senior team who are also women, this isn’t FP saying ‘look at how good we are, we are politically correct because we have to be’ this is FP saying, this is not even considered during the interview process, the best woman or man gets the job… as it should be.
