As I contemplated the strange beauty of fractal forms and processes, my composer’s curiosity was aroused. Quite naturally I wondered, how might these phenomena sound? --John Luther Adams
John Luther Adams’ work Strange and Sacred Noise is fractal music. It’s made with iterative function systems, and realized in percussion instruments. Read the essay for more.
