See, I’m more of a dog person myself, but I will admit that I’ve cried over animals many, many times. I can’t see adorable pictures of little fur babies without sobbing a little bit to myself, doesn’t even matter what kind of animal. Cat, dog, goat, I’ve cried at them all. I’m more of a dog lady. Can’t say that I’ve cried over a cat before, but I rescued my baby, boo, earlier this year and I haven’t been home in a few weeks, so I’m kind of emotional about that. Don’t let me watch videos of him otherwise I’ll turn into a real mess. Basically, I get it. Did you spend the full six hours crying over them? Your eyes must’ve hurt.

“Nothing wrong with being a dog lady - Dogs are pretty damn cute too. I’m just more into cats than dogs; I’d be pretty emotional too if I were in your shoes, but at least you’ll be able to see them more often now, yeah? Almost the full six hours; Thank god I took a few breaks in between.”

Between being on tour, promoting the new EP and now being sick, I can safely say that caffeine is the best solution for everything. But I do admit there’s been also good things – like meeting Amy Lee last weekend! Anyway, what are your plans for the weekend?

I’m horrible at introductions so I’m just going to tell you a story.

Yesterday I had to bring my daughter to pick out a puppy. Not only did we spend two hours deciding but then we spent another hour and a half choosing a dog house, collar and toys for it. Then - get this - she named her Laurel. Like the Black Canary. I’m not sure what to say to that - but shout out to Katie Cassidy for spoiling my kid so much she names her pets after her characters.
