So I’ve been working on this one a while.  As sort of a side thing to getting all the colors for printing, I printed out a few sets of ball joints to fiddle around with and wound up getting a little mesmerized filing and fiddling with these things.  

And then I wound up printing about 500 of the ball joints because I wanted to print a set out in every color I had.  So. Uh.  Yeah.  Here’s hoping everyone likes these things as much as I do :D

Question for my fellow fidgeters:  How important is it that your fidgets are made by someone who also fidgets?

Another spinner variation made with my personal preferences in mind.  I have pretty small hands and noticed that when doing test spins, I wound up mostly just using my thumb to worry the bearing cover.  The bearing pins on these are nice and high with an indent for fingertips, and the spinner itself is short and compact so even my tiny hands can spin it easily.   Fits nicely in a pocket and in the palm of your hand.

Variations on a theme!  A more simple hand spinner: Single color with a single bearing hidden under the cap.  Good for small hands (like mine) and printable in almost any color possible.

Another new style of fidget, based on a bunch of similar types currently going around:  High speed spinners!

These have a ball bearing (hidden under the center thumb rest) that allows them to spin nice and fast.    Have a few more variations on a theme that will be posted in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out!

New fidget offering!  Beaded fidgets! These can be folded and fiddled with very nicely and if put on a necklace, will look like just a pretty sweet pendant rather than something for fidgeting, so you can have it standout and yet still be a hidden in plain sight toy. :)

New line of fidgets now up in my Etsy store: Atomic Model spinners!  These are 3d printed, modeled on the first 10 elements of the periodic table  (other elements available on request!)

The single ring atoms (H & He) are 1.75 inches in diameter, with the double ringed being 2.25 inches. Both easily fit in a pocket as well as your palm! (H & He are especially pocketable. I have forgotten to remove them multiple times after printing and wound up confused where they had gone :D )  With some squeezing and flexing, it is possible to "ionize" an element by popping off the outer ring. Just squeeze the sides of the ring again and you should be able to easily slip the rest of the atom back in place. I can print these things in any of about 80 colors, so if you don’t see a color you like in the drop down, just request one!  The samples were done up in bright green and bronze because I wound up with far too much of those colors, whoops.

So after much fiddling with the dual-extruder, I have a new fidget offering!  This one’s a hand-held spinner, about an inch and a half across and a half inch wide. Sized it so even my tiny hands can one hand fidget with it (though one of my housemates has decided he likes it best as a two handed fidget, holding the band and spinning the middle.)

Have a few different blues and a dark purple for colors on this one, with the full range of colors available on request. (Also have glow in the dark for the stars if someone wants!)
