This is the short romance video that I have made.
For my last iteration, I have made a short romance video between the mushroom origami and the random sculpture origami that I made before in my iteration 1. I thought it would be funny if I could make a romance video out of this. And it actually does come out a bit funny and weird. First I needed to choose my background then put both origamis together in the background. These all pictures above were my processing in order to created my short video, where I have edited in adobe Photoshop. After I edited, I put all the pictures together in iMovie. I also have put music into it.
Put all the pictures that i have edited together using adobe photoshop and created a video using iMovie.
From the photos that I took, I put it together and make it as a video. I have edited with iMovie application and also I have put sound effect to it.
Iteration 4:
This iteration is another improvement from my previous iteration, which were the shadow pictures that I took and edited. I have chosen 3 different pictures of my shadow and applied it in the textile items, such as (top, skirt and dress).
First of all, I gathered all the pictures from the “who” magazine and one from the Internet. After that, I selected my shadow pictures then I edited using Adobe Photoshop. Actually, I do not know how it is going to turned out at the first time, but at the end when I kept looking at it, it seems interesting but kind of weird and of course so different with others famous fashion designers.
Iteration 3:
These pictures are another improvement from the origami that I have made. I took many pictures of my origami’s’ shadows and edited using “photo mirror” application from my phone. It has shown on how one origami can create several different kinds of shadows. It looks unique and interesting. One picture shows a love heart, a bunny ears, a bird, a castle and many different unique and interesting styles. I was kind of surprised on how the origami’s shadow that I have took can turn into something that I did not expect.
I was inspired to make this experiment from my first assessment, where I also created several different shadows of my 3D random sculpture.
Iteration 2 part c:
This picture was originally from the erasure picture that our group took in week 5. Our group has erased the student artwork from the exhibitions, then I put the picture of my random origami into it. I have edited using Adobe Photoshop.
Iteration 2 part b:
This video is another improvement from my previous experiment on “chance”. I have used the random origami that I have made before and put it into the erasure picture.
I took pictures of my random origami and put it into the erasure picture, which was the photograph about erasing the words from book. I have used Adobe Photoshop to edit my picture and put it together using iMovie program and also put sound effect into it.
Iteration 2:
This experiment was an extension from my previous experiment on “chance”. I used the origami that I made in iteration 1 into my previous experiment in week 5, which was the “erasure of knowledge”. So I used the picture that our group took in week 5, where we have edited out words from book, maps from signs and art form exhibitions.
I took pictures of the mushroom origami and put it into the erasure picture, which was the photograph about the map of COFA. I have used Adobe Photoshop to edit my picture and put it together using iMovie program. Finally, it created an animation.
Iteration 1 part B:
In this experiment I have created another origami, which was “mushroom” origami. At first, I randomly wrote something that came out from my mind, which were “hello kitty”, “mushroom”, “panda”, “chicken” and “penguin”. After that I wrote in paper, I cut it and scrunched them and put it in the cube. After I shook it and it came out “mushroom”.
Iteration 1:
This experiment is related to my previous experiment in week 2, which brings the topic of “chance”. Chance plays a key role in experimentation because in an experiment the outcomes are always unknown.
In this experiment I created the cube as my random generation machine in order to make my random 3d origami. So I made 2 cubes, one cube contains the number from 1-10 and the other cube contains the colour of origami paper (blue, red, yellow, orange and green). After that, I took the first and second draw and put it together. I kept on drawing until the random sculpture is made up of 50 origami papers.
For my assessment 3, I have chosen my week 2 experiment which focused on the topic chance. Chance plays a key role in experimentation because in an experiment the outcomes are always unknown.
So our group made the paper prism as our random generation machine which also involved the origami paper. As a result it gave us this random abstract sculpture.
For my final assessment, I am going to use this experiment as my starting point, where I am going to do 5 different iterations that will involve origami paper and hopefully the outcome will be interesting and unique.
Choose ONE of the weekly themes from the first half of semester. (Chance; Recording; Documentation; Erasure; Editing; Ways of Seeing).
Come up with an experiment exploring your chosen theme.
