I couldn't figure out which picture looked better so I posted all three of them. This is the final form of the rose I have been working on. I should be selling these in 9 months on etsy. That would give me enough time to graduate college.

My D 1.1, structural code, test is right around the corner, 12 March 2016. This should be interesting. Wish me luck.
Alright, this is the more perfected version of the last rose.
Just made a rose out of license plates. This one is the proto type for the perfected model I plan to make later. Roses are license plates lol.
I am now welding with 7018. The flux for this pass popped right off in one single piece.
Welding pads; give me a few more weeks to perfect my angle and travel speed and I should be good.
This is the first weld I have ever attempted with SMAW; not bad for a beginner. The rest of the welds are from my booth partner.
Built a hand saw. It's not very productive but, it's pretty to look over. Created using a milling machine, a lathe, tap and die set, a drill, a brass hammer, a small 1 pound hammer, and a metal bending device.
A Drill Bit Sizer and Paint Can Opener. Created using a milling machine, a standard drill, an assortment of sandpapers, and a mild steel stamp set. -Material used: Mild Steel; after being created it was then dipped in a hardening powder.
A Barn star made out of license plates. This was all hand bent and put together with rivets. The tools lying on the ground are what I used to create the barn star. You too can make these. Great way for selling those old license plates.
