It took loving Jean to make me realize what love even was. Even at the beginning, I wasn’t ready to love him. I was even less ready for the ugly part of that love, the part that digs into the center of you and hollows you out and leaves you empty and directionless when you realize that your perfect version of the great love of your life was always just a fragile echo of a dream, that it’s something unattainable.

On some level of the word, I love him. I love him the way an atheist loves God when he stares down the barrel of a gun. I love him the way a dying spark loves dry tinder. I love him the way a prisoner of war loves a cyanide pill.

Anyway, remember that Jeanmarco Bonnie and Clyde AU that I started writing in 2014? I’m in quarantine, and I’m going to finish it. Twenty-nine chapters down, one to go. Get hype.

#snkpositivityweek: Day Four + Five (Ship Positivity + Self Positivity) I know I’m late, but if you thought I would miss out on day 4 then you’re wrong!! Of course this date fell on when I have a 12-hour-straight shift at work :’u Let’s see, Jeanmarco is actually my first otp in any anime series that I really fell hard for and bothered to make content for as well. This was also after I watched S3 about a month ago, so I’m actually relatively new to this haha. I did watch S1 way back in 2014(?) but honestly I passed them as “wow what great friends they are” LMAO and didn’t think much of it afterwards. I was also depressed back then and didn’t even bother caring about anything anyway, much less care about making snk fanart besides a couple of Jean doodles (and I mean like 1-2 sketches) in the span of 5 years.   During those years though, I did meet someone extremely special to me who I’d never thought I would be in a relationship with to this day, especially with not only my depression, but also bc our personalities were just completely opposite of each other. And yeahhh you could’ve guessed it by now. IRL, I’m actually quick to anger, can’t keep my mouth shut if I see something wrong or conflicted, and that consequently gets me into a lot of fights with a bunch of people. By stark contrast my SO is an extremely gentle and kind person (bless their soul for putting up with me), always understanding, but is never afraid to point out why I gotta stop doing these self-destructive things to myself, and not to mention super smart and uncannily in-tuned with other peoples’ emotions, which makes them so popular among our friends. I really relate to these two characters as a result.  That said, you can probably tell what kind of utter destruction that episode in S3 where we see Marco’s final moments did to me hahahahahahaha. Oh god, Marco screaming and the off-screen crunching of his body left me so heartbroken. Like my heart was torn out of my body and stomped on kind of thing, and I felt so bad for Jean who still doesn’t know what happened??? IsaYaMMAAAA I KNOW for a fact that it’ll stay that way, just for the shock value, urghhh.   But yea, this is why I say that I probably can’t stop making content for these two lol
