Hand-cut tartar of lightly grilled beef filet with pickled rhubarb, shallots, nasturtium and smoked marrow mayonnaise. I can have a pretty short memory at times, so when I am recalling something in particular, it can kind of be taken with a pinch of salt. Although, with that being said and as far as I can remember, this is maybe the very best steak tartar I have ever had. I know it looks quite chunky, but don’t let that put you off, it added so much texture. Or you might find it odd being lightly grilled beforehand, but it added a new character and subtle a flavor to the tartar, making it stand out from all the rest. Washed down with a tall glass of Carlsberg this tartar was nothing short of incredible.
