vital instruments are actually what got me into gachiakuta in the first place as im pretty sure it was a tiktok trend for people to say what their vital instrument would be, so, i got curious cuz what the actual fuck is a vital instrument and caved in. I CANT CAVE OUT HELP IM STUCK

your gachisona has a really cool vital instrument! do u want to yap about the lore or abilities behind it? ive seen other examples but i havent seen a coffee portafilter as one. like does your gachisona send boiling espresso at trash beasts???? i cant help but envision the coffee portafilter just releasing a gush of espresso at the beast's face or something and it just dies because it cant handle the great immense power of being overly caffeinated. pity :(

the whole idea was… i love coffee, i’m a leo, and my name is solar, so the lion-fire theme was the way to go (also, “la marzocco” is the lion symbolic of florence, so it was an obvious choice). i didn’t really think through the molten metal thing when i drew it out, so now i’ve had to come up with some use for it ahaha…

my character is more involved in civil service/volunteerism (hence why she looks a bit firefighter-y), she uses her jinki to form constructs for building & development :)))

liquid is so unpredictable, i don’t really know how one would fight with it. my best answer is literally just slinging globs of firey stuff at a trash beast and hoping they’re flammable! taking suggestions, i’m absolutely shit at character creation.

the alternate is, of course, forcing a caffeine overdose upon her opponents, which is 300x funnier.

also i think i enjoy your yaps as they are close to borderline ao3 author. maybe ive just been reading too much fanfiction. you have so much ao3 fanfic writer potential (not saying you need to be ofc). like your posts give off the author notes and your replies to asks give off short oneshots. might be why people think you write fanfiction HAHA

- jabber let zanka try on one of his rings while they were together once and the tradition stuck: when they fight zanka always snatches a ring, jabber taking it back marks that their time’s up.

—> this is for zanka’s sake. he knows jabber won’t leave without his ring, thus he’s assured that jabber will, for the moment, stay put. i think zanka’s deep/seated insecurity makes him feel like he’s on the precipice of boring jabber, failing to meet his expectations, and ultimately being ditched for a more interesting , ferocious opponent. :(

- hc that zanka is a heavy sleeper since birth. it was so bad in his early adolescence/puberty that kyouka tried to train it out of him by waking him up in unpredictable, short intervals. joining the cleaners put him right back in sleepytown tho.

—> meanwhile jabber’s sleep schedule is whatever the fuck it wants to be, and he’ll wake up to a whisper two rooms over. who’s circadian rhythm? can he fight her?

- zanka keeps subtly trying to prod jabber about his process of developing new toxins (because who told that asshole he could be a genius and a chemical prodigy in secret? as they say, “know thy enemy”!). nobody’s ever expressed genuine interest in jabber’s poisons before, so jab laughs (cackles) it off, assuming zanka has some plan to use his methods against him

- gentle touches have jabber’s shoulders up to his ears like a startled cat. i am extremely touch sensitive, just trust me ok?

- JABBER HAS DIMPLES. JABBER HAS DIMPLES. JABBER HAS DIMPLES. JABBER HAS DIMPLES. JABBER HAS DIMPLES. WE ALL AGREE. YES? OK.

about the fic author thing… i certainly read a lot of fic LMAOO and i wrote a few back in the day, but i’ve started and dropped ten times as many as i’ve actually published. i was rlly considering writing smth for my hs au a bit ago, but i didn’t really have anywhere interesting to go with it. it would be fun to get back into writing, when i have the time :))

ooh, this is one of the first times i’ve heard about brondus!

i’m not a shipper per se but i enjoy the concept, they had great chemistry in the cleaner/raider encounter! they also sort of seem like janka’s complete opposite… as in, two mature adjusted men finding each other after having already achieved stability and a degree (as much as is permitted on the ground😭) of fulfillment in life :)) contrast that with the two mentally ill freaks with mankind’s least healthy dynamic i’m obsessed with, it’s a surprise that i like the idea of brondus so much haha!!

i’ll be honest… i don’t spend enough time exploring other ships once i’ve picked one to fixate on, this has been my thing since middle school 😭 BUT!! i find amorudo super cute and wholesome and just…their themes of renewal and finding softness in rough people tugs at my heartstrings. my friends are all really into grisjin too so i gotta support it! (also, grisjin artists are fuckingg crackedddd it’s half the appeal for me)

i thought about stringcrow too but i just don’t want tamsy to be happy. sorry
