Wonderful set of music by Vincent Chancey's group last night at Sista's Place in BK. A special treat for me to see and hear the great Bertha Hope! Its been far too long to have gone without her sound. My first real gig in this bizness was a 3-month hit in Japan. And Ms. Hope was my accompanist.
