Fixit.

X-0906. Or, well, that's my serial number. My name in Cybertronian translates about the same as my name in English, something like... "something that can fix [things/people]."

3. Do you know why you were called that?

There's not really a deeper reason for serial numbers, but my name was because of my alt mode and initial assignment. I can transform into a multi-purpose medical tool.

4. Are you single or taken?

...Possibly something in the middle of those two options?

5. Have any abilities or powers?


I know some first aid, and I'm good at fixing things--at least, I'm good at doing repairs on ships and stasis cells and capture devices.

Blue.

Cybertronians don't have hair... Would helm color be the equivalent of that? Orange, then.

Not really.

That hasn't really been an option, but I don't mind animals...

Being treated like I'm slow. like I'm not a person. Mixing up my words so much, but it's the seizing that happens along with it that's worst, I think.

Working on things, helping people, talking with people. Watching TV! And listening to music.

...Yes.

No. I really don't want to ever have to.

I can be sarcastic, and kind of stubborn. And sometimes I brush things off  too easily or don't really notice when someone's treating me badly.

I don't think so. I just try to do my job well.

Bisexual? I don't think about it, but I don't think I have any preferences.

No.

Getting worse. Or not being able to keep doing my job.

Minicons aren't really part of the caste system like other cybs are.

I don't have an aquatic alt, so I can't swim. But if I had to choose, I think I'd rather not be in salt water.

I found a lot of different things when I looked for se, so I'm not sure what I was looking for, but ukeleles sound nice.

Oh, you could certainly say that. The war certainly offered me more in the way of practical training than I ever would have received back on Cybertron.

Doesn’t everyone? The better question would be ‘do I have any hobbies I can safely engage in currently’, and unfortunately, the answer to that is no.

You didn't have training back on Cybertron? Not that that's a bad thing. I never had training myself, I just picked up a few things... I was assigned to a doctor back on Cybertron before the war.

I guess that's true. But that sounds difficult--are you in a dangerous situation?

I'm sure they'd tell you. Maybe it hasn't happened for you yet, or your universe is more different from ours. Bumblebee's said it's been years since he's been on Earth, I can ask him if he knows you if you like? That should clear things up. But I don't see why they'd leave you here without telling you.

I'll go ahead and get to work on repairing those, then.

We do, too! Everyone has disguises so humans don't notice that we're here and panic, but it can be difficult staying hidden all the time while recapturing prisoners, so the humans we're living with now try to help keep us hidden and undercover. ...It's probably a good thing the Alcamor crashed on private property, too.

With the way this is going, we really are going to have to figure out if we're in the same universe and timeline. I don't want to alarm anyone where you are if it's not necessary, and... Well, I can still send you the capture devices, if you think they'd help. Are you post-war? Apparently it's been around twenty years since the Well restarted, here.

» May I suggest that you also release this information on an open network as well? It would help prepare others at a much faster rate than going one by one, as there is a lessen chance of accidentally missing someone along the way.

I might do that, now that I know there may be other Cybertronians here on Earth. Bumblebee and his team were under the impression they were the only ones here right now. But we have had a few visits from Autobots just arriving on Earth, so it couldn't hurt to set up some kind of message on a repeating loop.

That would be fine, then! I don't mind providing that. It's good to hear that you won't have a problem holding them, and that you're dedicated to humane treatment. I've heard that Rescue Bots always are, though. :)

You might not have anything to worry about, if you're very far in our past or future--or if you're in another universe completely, but it's best if everyone's prepared. I wouldn't want anyone to be in danger because of this accident, even if you weren't in any position to help.

Oh, good. I do hope you won't have to hurt most of them; their danger levels vary, but none of them have been actively targeting humanity. Humans have been in danger, but most of them have been trying to find Energon or ways back to Cybertron, or have been stealing other things, or just generally causing trouble.

If you need any capture devices, I think I have a few spares, I'll just need to fix them up a little.

I know that feeling. First, I should introduce myself. My name is Fixit. I am, or was, the warden of the prison ship Alcamor. We recently crashed on Earth, and the ship was badly damaged, as were its stasis cells. There are currently a couple hundred Decepticon prisoners loose, that myself and a small group of Autobots are attempting to recapture.

If you see any unusual Cybertronians, it might be best not to approach them yourselves. But if you do see one, can I ask you to contact me? If you give me their general appearance, or what you've seen them doing, I can check the Alcamor's database and someone can come to your location to handle things.

...And if you do end up arresting any Decepticons, there's a good chance they're mine. If they are, we'll come collect them for you.

Innocence and Friendship

(jsyk guys, i will ABSOLUTELY answer memes into eternity, so never feel like you're too late for one)

Innocence - Fixit is, strictly speaking the warden of the Alcamor, and in charge of all the prisoners--hence his working so hard to repair things and help the Autobots recapture them. But when it comes down to it, he's not really culpable for their imprisonment. Minicons are seen as servants at best, basically drones at worst, and either work directly for someone who is seen as basically a mix of their employer/parent/owner or are given solo, honestly shitty jobs that non-Minicons don't want to do. The assignment to be on a prison ship with a few hundred eternally sleeping Decepticon prisoners (pretty much all of whom can easily overpower him), by himself, for an indefinite period of time was not something he would have chosen, but choosing was never an option for him. He was made to serve, and taught that his job was his function in life. He doesn't really recognize it, but he's as much of a prisoner as any of the Decepticons; he certainly can't quit, because Minicons are "easily replaceable," and sometimes even deactivated if they're "not working properly," and he's already nervous about how the Autobots in charge of things will approach his "faulty wiring."

Friendship - So as not to have a repeat of the "Family" answer... Honestly, though, Fixit does think of the other Autobots, and the Clays, as his friends, and that's actually pretty huge for him. He's actually closer to the humans than the Bots, on the whole; out of the Bots, he's closest to Sideswipe. Bumblebee is their leader so he feels some professional distance there (and he knows that Bumblebee thinks he's kind of slow, honestly); Grimlock used to be one of his prisoners so he feels some professional distance in the opposite direction with him; Strongarm makes him kind of nervous and is just overall more distant with him anyway.

He didn't really have many friends back on Cybertron, before his prison ship assignment. A few other Minicons, who likely didn't make it through the war, and maybe one or two bigger Bots who didn't treat him differently, who likewise probably didn't survive. Their species was basically decimated and he's still not entirely clued into how utterly their world and their people were destroyed. (And that little factoid could also be a part of my "Innocence" headcanon, tbh.)

I did think you didn't mean to send that to me, though. I don't know if you want my advice, but I can try to give it, even if I'm not the best at things like this myself usually, and 'smile at someone until they notice' is usually what I would do too.

But I do know that if I was in his place I wouldn't mind a little more direct flirting, even if I am busy. Was busy. Hypothetically.
