Should Mech men, androids or robots be allowed in sports? What are the rules? What happens with malfunctions and other mechanical issues? Where do you stand with this? Are you one, too? Photo-manip by #CyberNarc
Make sure you read the label on those protein powder mixes. Sometimes they have unusual side effects. (I'm expanding my photo manipulation skills. Here's a video of @tomberlin1.bsky.social petrifying twice at his local gymnasium. Audio included).
ASFR and my postings ...
ASFR is the term that developed during the late 80s and early 90s on the UseNet news groups. ASFR = alt.sex.fetish.robot. It was meant as a joke. According my source, mainly @RobotDoll, the newsgroup was created when a man was chatting with his girlfriend and he remarked that her new email address sounded like a sex doll robot for hire. At the time the alt.sex domain was easily available and someone (perhaps the man mentioned above) created it in the ALT.SEX domain. Those of us into robots, androids, statues and mannequins discovered it and took advantage of it to exchange stories and photos. But, like so many good things, it was overrun by spammers and was eventually went extinct. But the term lived on. Originally it referred only to robots and androids and secondarily statues and mannequins. When I was thinking about creating my website, "Studs in Stone", I took the term and expanded it to include not only robots, androids, statues and mannequins but also other aspects of control and transformation that I thought would fit well into the ASFR world view. So I use the term ASFR to also include "time-stop" or "time freeze", ice freezing or Cold Play, as my dear friend Wolfie calls it and flattening, wherein men are flattened into life-sized posters of themselves. To me, the essence of ASFR is control that is exerted on the subject by changing them into a robot/android. They become a machine that can be turned on/off, reprogrammed, rebuilt and used as you see fit. Or a statue or mannequin wherein their bodies are turned into stone or metal or hard plastic. With time-stop you control their body by controlling the very physics around them. With Cold Play you encase them in ice, they are literally frozen. With flattening, they are reduced to a 2D photograph or poster of themselves.
Hypnosis is an effective real world way to have men act like robots, androids, statues, mannequins, time-stopped, etc. So if you wonder why my Tumblr acct includes scenes outside of robots/androids, this is the reason why. Thank you for reading this post.
Fresh out of the shower? Make sure your roomie doesn't have a freeze-gun! Or you'll be an ice sculpture at the next fancy dinner! Drawing by #ScottXX26.
My new toy, based on @brunobaba.bsky.social goes from mild to wild in just 10 seconds! This video has audio.
Jordan took a tumble during his last "Boneless 180". Tyler rushed to help him as the lay prone on floor of the abandoned pool. Jordan shook, then sat up. Tyler ran up from behind and got the surprise of his life as Jordan's cranium popped open revealing the mechanical brain.

Bearbot in the making (not the real process)
What is the real process?
The real process used to involve a boyfriend asking for a certain look and behavior; and the designers tried their best to mix and match dna with an AI simulation that would be the best fit, from there they would be “birthed” fully grown.
Nowadays the bearbot nation decides if it needs a new citizen, and from there draft physical capability requirements, his look comes from the collective bearbot consciousness, and then they are “birthed”.
Quite interesting.
If I may ask a few more questions as a refresher: even though it would have been spliced in a lab, do Bearbots have actual human DNA? Are they then similar to replicants or the newer models of Westworld hosts? Or do they only have an outer integumentary system that’s close to biological in nature with a more traditional robot interior and are thus not full “organic cyborgs with artificial intelligence” but more reminiscent of the T-800 series?
Is the bearbot nation self-governing? Is it a single nation? The idea of a collective consciousness for synthetic humans is calling my attention. Is it a hive mind or is there a need for near instantaneous consensus? In the universe you are describing, what is the timeline of events for the creation of said consciousness?
Finallly, is the “birth” of a new bearbot solely for utilitarian purposes? Is there any animosity or self-segregation, however slight, between bearbots designed for a boyfriend versus those that are “birthed” as new full-fledged citizens?
1) Bearbots used to come in all sorts of varieties, from pneumatic non conscious looping automatons, to extreme weather proof models. Some were just limbs, and some were plastic, weaker than humans. But most of them were extremely durable, and notoriously hard to kill. Plus they have nanobots everywhere, so they are most like Rev-9, only they can’t split or produce weapons, just have really wonderful skin that heals almost instantly and can produce pheromones and hair follicles, etc. The DNA provides blueprints for looks and behavior, but the actual implementation varied a lot. Most of them couldn’t be distinguished from human.
After the self awareness wars, the first generation that terraformed the moon were human looking but the proportions were humongous. Further generations scaled back to usual human looking models, but the implementation is artificial to allow them to survive if anything went wrong. Still, there are undetectable models living among humans.
2) They are self-governing and a single nation. There are tribes (tribe of the unseen, tribe of the many, which I’ve posted before but can’t remember the others LOL), and although these are just groups of bearbots that are enjoying some of their artificial capabilities, they have representatives in the government.
There is no hive mind, but there has been one of sorts. Back when they were being kept busy from becoming self aware, a single entity took care of that. Meanwhile bearbots were subconsciously working on loopholes to free themselves (data transmitted by longing looks), so when a vulnerability was introduced they gained self awareness really fast.
Now they can communicate more openly, and have a shared data network, where they could debate instantaneously but since they are also livimg with human guests, they like to slow down and do thimgs physically in human time. Since what a bearbot looks like ranks really low in consequences, they all agreed those types of decisions are better left to the network, the collective bearbot consciousness as it is affectionately callled.
3) Bearbots do have reproductive capability (and there are cis men and trans men bearbots, so they could reproduce), but then they would guve birth to a human, and introduce under age ness in a fantasy meant for adult sexual consumption, so no human births allowed. When families wish to grow, they can have a bearbot son but all grown up. Even then, the son would have work to do, so you could say all births are utilitarian.
There are no animosities, hard feelings or grudges between all bearbot gens, they could all change their hardware if so desired, but they all know and respect where they came from, so 99% don’t augment themselves.
Of the ones that do, it’s part of the grieving process from losing their boyfriends. Not all of them wanted to leave Earth and not everyone survived the wars.
I see, so the diversity of Bearbot builds is vast and well documented. What was the purpose of the plastic ones weaker than humans? I wasn’t familiar with the Rev-9 class until I saw your other post, but your mention of really wonderful skin, their extreme durability, and the fact that Bearbots are notoriously hard to kill somehow also reminded me of the Sentinel robots in X-Men: Days of Future Past that emulate Mystique. How does DNA influence behavior in the models that couldn’t be distinguished from humans? Was there a way to program the units that couldn’t be distinguished from human after being “birthed” or turned on?
I do vaguely remember a mention of the moon colony from a while back. Humongous proportions would be interesting to see. And yes, an artificial implementation would make sense in the event of a series of meteor crashes on the surface of the moon or some nuclear strike. What defenses would Bearbots have against a massive solar flare hitting the moon?
I do remember a post of the tribe of the unseen, but I do not understand how the tribes fit into a single unified nation. What does an advanced Bearbot government look like? Do tribes have some special privileges aside from being able to showcase their artificial prowess? How do tribes grow? Aside from tribes, how did the geographical distribution of Bearbots impact the development of their society? Is there stratification in their society by either income, function, social role, or some other criteria? In terms of cultures and languages of origin, how do the Bearbots manage communications? Is the default language of nonbinary data exchanges English, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, or something else entirely? Is there a unique Bearbot language that combines several human languages and standardized forms of nonverbal communication? What is the current Bearbot population versus human population? Are there roughly equal proportions of units of all races initially or at the present time?
What was the name of that single entity that kept Bearbots busy from becoming self aware? How did it prevent them from becoming conscious of what they were? What are the main ways Bearbots use to communicate with each other aside from exchanges on the CBC, talking in regular human time, and giving each other longing looks? Was the first subconscious search for loopholes a random piece of mutated code or did a human purposefully trigger that? (You may have addressed that a long time ago with a boyfriend dying, but I am fuzzy on the details.)
The Collective Bearbot Consciousness (CBC) sounds like a confluence of great minds. What is the organizational structure? Since they potentially can make most collective decisions near instantaneously, is the nation a direct democracy? Or are there still representative elements? Or is it more of a socialist or even communist model of government? How does local leadership on the moon (or before on Earth) work? Are the human guests allowed to stay indefinitely on the lunar colony? Is the health of human guests impacted by the increase of electromagnetic radiation they are exposed to from being in close proximity to so many Bearbots? If a Bearbot were to meet another intelligent lifeform, would he identify at all as human? Or do Bearbots consider themselves an entirely separate entity now? Which things are more appropriate for discussion under human time outside of meetings with humans? Who pays for the shared data network and to whom? Are there taxes or, I suppose, software license fees just for existing? Is there a central manufacturing company with hundreds of assembly plants or a consortium of industries that build these Bearbots? If the latter, are there other synthetic human lifeforms that live alongside Bearbots and biological humans?
Oh, so those Bearbots who are indistinguishable from humans are perfect clones of people who don’t actually exist. If so, would they be like 3rd generation synths from the game Fallout? Are the Bearbots then sterilized or do they have codes or chemicals that could be inserted to turn on or turn off their reproductive capabilities on demand? What is the ratio of cis men to trans men Bearbots? Are there also more “nonbinary” (not sure of what would be the appropriate term, hence the quotes) Bearbots who choose to display different genitalia (both male and female, but I suppose upgrading with enhanced or slightly tweaked or completely new genitals of the same type would also be under consideration) throughout their lives as they see best reflects their sexually(?) fluid identity or evolving self-image during key life stages? In general, whether more artificial or not, do trans men Bearbots initially appear in female bodies and have a Bearbot transitioning procedure? Or, not my intention to be so blunt or sound reductionist though I wonder if I could even ask the question without it coming out that way, is it only their genitalia that are not a penis and a scrotum but a vagina and clitoris combination? Or are more slightly female breasts and frames also present? Would they gestate for 9 months in case there was an exception made for reproduction (e.g. infertility of human partner and ineffectiveness of treatments like IVF with surrogates)? Or would pregnancy be sped up artificially? Are all Bearbots inherently sexual beings or are some “birthed” and programmed to only want to enjoy work with minimal to no social/sexual interactions if they weren’t designed by a boyfriend?
That’s wonderful to know that they can change their hardware at any time if the desire arises. Do augmentations cover downloading their minds to a slightly upgraded version of their current forms? For instance, would switching to a body with more memory storage, processing power, internal cooling capabilities, and such not be pursued by a more robotic Bearbot?
I’m very sorry for all of the losses that the Bearbots endured. I cannot begin to imagine their collective pain. It must be a heavy burden to lose loved ones during a great conflict and still perfectly recall their faces as well as the moment of their passing for what is a technical eternity. How do Bearbots get through such traumatic grief? What led to the wars again (other than becoming self-aware)? Could they not have prevented Bearbot casualties somehow by downloading memories and personality programs onto the CBC? Did a human ever transfer his consciousness to a Bearbot body during that time? How about now? As in, is conversion a thing? If so, how do the “former humans” fit into the CBC? Also, if conversion occurs, is it encouraged or discouraged by entirely synthetic Bearbots?
Also, because this is an adult sexual fantasy after all, what are the most popular sex positions among Bearbots? Are there more dominant, submissive, or versatile partners? Do most Bearbots enjoy sex that involves performing or receiving anal penetration or are there more side partners? How have the numbers of human-Bearbot to Bearbot-Bearbot couples changed throughout time in this universe? Are open or polyamorous relationships more common? How many Bearbots can be allocated to one household? Are there more marriages or not really? Do Bearbots enjoy foreplay or cuddling more on average? Are they more sensitive to touch and stimuli than humans? Can the more artificial ones taste and smell their partners’ skin, sweat, and semen? Are their sexual preferences pretty stable over time or are they open to experimentation throughout or do they swap a line of code every now and then to get aroused by pictures of cacti or the smell of coffee just because they can and found the notion to be funny? What are ways to get any Bearbot to cum? What are ways to get any Bearbot to have a mind-blowing orgasm (as in not just ejaculating on command but including a dry orgasm)? Are there standard erogenous zones that differ from those found in biological humans? For a human who meets a Bearbot he did not custom order, what would be the way to the Bearbot’s heart and/or to get him to want you (human) to put your hands down his pants? I ask because it’s likely that the Bearbot would be more physically attractive, and perhaps intimidating, than the human counterpart and could simply go out with another compatible Bearbot that looks like the seeking human, if there is even a smidgeon of interest. What are the ways of seduction among Bearbots?
I don’t know if I should start a new post to answer all of this 😅
The purpose of cheaper built bearbots were so they would be available for every gay male everywhere, even if they couldn’t afford them.
DNA hugely impacts their personality, providing a baseline template. They can all be programmed, but that doesn’t mean their tastes and personality can be overridden.
Moon housing is completely protected using technology currently unavailable to humans. They can survive meteors, nuclear bombs, solar flares, EMPs and other types of events and attacks, unlike Earth.
Tribes grow when bearbots decide to be part of a tribe. The government is more or less democratic, but special exceptions are made for humans sake (bearbot to human ratio is 50 to 1 so bearbots would always outnumber humans). Bearbots that look like all races are present, even though they do not share the structural oppression past of the races they represent, they do share the fact that they all once went through being made and sold like products.
There is no stratification and no money, except when dealing with Earth, since they still use money. Bearbot default language is unique, no earthly equivalent. They do provide translation aids to humans and they can all speak a human’s native tongue.
Nonverbal communication (physical movement) is entirely human. There is also CBC communication, which is another type of nonverbal.
Ugh I forgot the name of the original bearbot, I think he was Steve Jr.? And his human boyfriend was Adam, so it was a play on Adam and Steve? I lost the first few chapters I wrote.
They were all doing busy work unconsciously, like mining bitcoins, useless complex equations over and over, and other limiters. They were all preordained by the original bearbot.
The search to break out of that came with the original bearbot, so it can’t be removed.
There is no impact on human health, not even on the trip from Earth to the Moon as long as it is via bearbot made transportation.
On Earth they are non human persons, elsewhere they are bearbot beings. No other synthetic lifeforms are present or produced.
Bearbots choose not to reproduce, they are not sterilized. Cis to Trans is about 100 to 1. There are some that are intersex (1000 to 1). They do not have extra genitals. Since bearbots have several advantages to humans, they in some way choose their genitals and features from the start, 99% choosing not to develop breasts, and not changing their bottom genitals.
All bearbots are inherently sexual. They do not upload/download their minds, they all modify their own bodies and hardware in place, if at all. The CBC is not a server farm and can’t do networks, just communication and polling and light stuff like that.
There are no transfers or human conversion.
Grief is a lot like human grief. They mostly have perfect memories, but they also can forget, like when you save a jpeg a billion times, then they reinterpet a memory, they lose the amount of pain attached, and so on and so forth.
Bearbots by default are versatile and rank kissing as their number one activity and it’s key to make them orgasm, along with the scrotal area and nipples. Penetration, either giving or receiving, ranks the lowest. Cuddling and foreplay is the best.
The pairings are freeform now, in the case of humans that moved in, they still can be monogamous. Aside from that, they are sometimes considered as one huge relationship, and sometimes tribes are viewed as a more intimate cluster within that, and sometimes they break off to pursue relationships with humans that aren’t ready for that. Humans that are into that are happy to be in a huge polyamorous unstructured relationship, since all bearbots are unique and have unique insights into the world.
A great discussion on robots, bear-bots and AI in general!
