Sorry I've just been really scotchryepilled in the past few days. Picturing early on scotchrye wherein they're figuring each other out in bed and as it turns out it's quite difficult for Scotch to get Rye to verbally engage with him (and maybe even make noise in general), and at some point Scotch slips up and comments on it— something about Rye not being very talkative even in bed.

Anyway the first time they get frisky after that Rye gets a really smug look on his face and Scotch has about 0.3 seconds to prepare before the guy is yapping away about some obscure theorem and its history. Smack dab in the middle of sex. Scotch also eventually finds out that if he asks nicely Rye will even study random functions for him on the fly
