Forever thinking about Shuuichi ending up with hearing damage because of how close he was to the gun when Scotch pulled the trigger. His right eardrum got Fucked Up I know this. Permanent tinnitus ever since, and sometimes he just can't ignore it no matter how hard he tries... If he dreams of the rooftop he wakes up after the gunshot and the whistling follows him. He does not get to forget. Ghosts may not be real but the specter of a single gunshot is going to haunt him to his dying breath

naturally (greedily) I always wish my favorite pairings had more content, but in scotchrye's case I can admit that they have just the right amount of material (not nearly enough, as it stands) that adds the extra kick in the gut to their already gut-wrenching narrative... :'))

it's their short-lived companionship, the sneaky sense of relatability they shared despite knowing virtually nothing about each other, and the frankly unreasonable amount of trust they had in each other given literally everything. what could've been... what would've been if rye didn't get distracted for a fraction of a second. and all the baggage scotch left him with as a result... who could've anticipated any of that?

them having a whopping 3 or so scenes together and still packing That Much in them... scotchrye is akin to thoes expandable capsule toys which you need only feed like 3 drops of water for them to grow strangely big..🫠
