Pokemon Sun and Moon PSA:

Do not save your game in a Pokemon Center or at the Battle Tree. There have been many people who have had their save files corrupted by doing this. Upon loading their game, players’ character models have not loaded properly, or they have been placed inside of a wall and are unable to escape. This may be addressed in a future update, but for the time being don’t risk destroying your save file

Friendly reminder about the Manaphy Egg mission from the first Pokemon Ranger game (and spoiler alert)

Actually more like a recount of the events in the mission

In the mission:

- Cameron finds the egg washed up on Summertown’s shores and thought it would be a great idea to give it to Prof. Hastings because it had a calming effect and wants Hastings to be less hasty

- It does the complete opposite, sort of. Hastings rushes away with the Pokemon egg to Ringtown to show Spenser and his rangers.

- Meanwhile, the remnants of the Go-Rock Squad (being lead by a guy in a lab coat called the Commander) find out about the egg via the listening device that are planted in the Professor’s lab (Murph finds it later on. This was one of his big moments in this game)

Also, that assistant is a spy!

- Anyway, they intercept the Prof., beat him up, and get away with the egg. (He tried defending himself with his training…)

- The rangers find out and go after the Commander and his ‘squad’ to save the egg (as you would)

- The Commander wants the egg to go to the Sea Temple to become a Sea King (that is ruler of the seas and not the Pokemon Seaking). He believes himself to be (and I quote) “the chosen one” to “reign as the absolute ruler of all Fiore”

- The Commander had no idea how to get to Krokka Tunnel to get to Fall City so he trust his (ignorant) grunt to guide him. He’s using a trail of mushrooms to guide himself. There are Paras in the area. And a Swellow.

- Solana and Lunick eventually corner them in a cul-de-sac and defeat the Commander. He’s dumbfounded, of course. He runs past the rangers with the egg still and they did nothing to catch him.

- Guess who did catch him: Gordor. He dragged the Commander back (apparently twisting his arm, hurting him) and forces him to give up the Manaphy egg

- Gordor helped the rangers because he felt ashamed of his “petty pride” when they saved his behind from being grilled by Entei. He wanted to atone for his misdeeds and thanks the rangers for helping him

This is coming from the same guy with the massive ego (constantly evil laughing) who thought it would be a great idea to try to replace the rangers with his team using the Super Stylus

Also this mission can only be played once.

Friendly reminder that when Hikari (Dawn) entered in a competition, the winner of which would design clothes for a gravure idol (pin-up model). Hikari also owns what suspiciously resembles lingerie (although her mom doesn't let her take it out of the house) and mistook Mai (Marley) for a dakimakura.

did you know that of all the villains in the pmd canon, only two have canonically committed murder? one of them is kyurem, who freezes one of your friends and shatters them to pieces onscreen…

and the other is munna, who has canonically slaughtered dozens of humans so they can’t prevent the apocalypse.
