my brother died this weekend. It has not been fun and I am not likely going to be around for a little bit while dealing with grief and finding out what happened.Â
if I could afford a new graphics card I might be able to make this last a little longer...
sigh..Â
ok starting to get signs that my comptuer will die again soon, so I have to log off before I end up punt kicking this damn thing...
as I said, if you would like my psn, or skype.. contact me. you can at lacewinglml (at) Yahoo (.) com..Â
if anyone plays ESo or Minecraft... be nice to have otehr people to play with
(ask-the-night-guard-and-fox-boy) Mike: Kayla, it's been a while. I've missed you, sis. (Mun: Saw your note. Sucks about your computer :/)
Kayla glomps âMiss you!!!!â
(sigh yeah, it just.. really really sucks and Iâm trying to stay PG, maybe PG-13 here in my descriptions on how much this sucks royal monkey dookee)Â

âIâll be as careful as I can.â she promised âbut if they are going to fire me, it will likely be for the fact Iâve giving you food clothing and a bath. Of course if they do, then I go to local humanitarian institutes and tell them that they are conducting human research. Which is illegal if you have not given permission.â she informed him âI wondered if you were some sort of creature, but, youâre human, which makes thisâ she indicated the cell âillegal and wrong.â
Good, good. Careful would be nice; heâd like to see them again. But, as far as the others finding out who did this goes, heâs not going to say shit. He gives a small nod before briefly glancing up at a corner of the room. Heâs fairly certain that security camera doesnât actually function.. âAll right. They wonât hear anything from me, though, thatâs for sure.â
Pfft, yeah, because a place thatâs doing this to him cares about laws. Heâd be very surprised if this wasnât some sort of black project and they merely havenât been let in on the whole thing yet.. There is another piece to this puzzle, though. âThat doesnât matter to them. I technically donât exist; no documentation. Iâm, uh.. actually from an alternate reality. Thatâs why they can afford to keep me here and treat me like this.â
Not to mention, heâs not sure that itâs research being conducted on him, so much as just straight torment.. psychologically, anyway. Without the reassuring voice of the demon, itâs easy to convince him that heâs worthless. He sighs. âI just, donât know what theyâre getting out of this..â
She shook her head âI donât know, but.. Iâll try and find out, and either get you better treatment, or get you out of here.â she promised. âAt least, I wonât torment you.â she reached through the bars to pet his arm lightly.
OK this is just.. grrr
My computer is having some issues, so well if you are on psn, you can chat at me there, or over skype..Â
Iâm going to be around, but slow and when I can get my computer working for longer than a half hour.
Its going to be a little time before Iâm reliable as well since I have to wait until I have enough money (or sell enough commissions, hard to do when no computer to work on) to get a new computer.Â
(( holy shit, youâre not dead! ))
I know, feels like it sometimes! the new year is off to a banging start!
"Kaylaaaaaa" Cass flopped across the other guards lap in a rather pitiful motion, "I miss yooooooou."
She laughs âYeah, miss you tooâ
ooc: sorry itâs nuts and my computer is not working very well. I need a new one, which means I need money.. weee
She didn't expect to see the part time puppet bleed let alone outside of the pizzeria, on the floor of the hall to her third floor home. her mom was out for the weekend, took her siblings with her to go visit Kayla's grandparents. So, Kayla did her best to lever her friend up and take him into the kitchen, then got the first aid kit. "What happened man?"
My Muse appears on your Museâs doorstep shaking, sobbing, and bloody. What does your Muse do?
[Whoa. This one, I was not expecting anything for.]
Bracing himself against the countertop, it takes a while before he manages to speak. Funny how the loss of someone he wasnât even in love with could impact him this much. The distinctly not grinning blonde resorts to taking deep breaths to calm down.âSorry, I, wasnât sure where to go.â
Still shivering slightly, he looks up at the woman, sorrow replacing the usual confident intensity in his eyes. The thing is, he knew. He had a feeling like he shouldnât get up today. Maybe things wouldâve been worse if this was delayed, though.âIâI saw Vick.. standing over Cassâs body. And, I..â
Why didnât he act upon that instinct sooner?! The evidence was right there! Now everythingâs a mess.. At least his mission was fulfilled.âIt all happened so fast.. I donât know how much of this is mine..â
frizzynightshift:
She shook her head and sat down at the table, after a moment she got up again and made some coffee for the pair of them. âIt would be better if we stay away, Iâll likely hear from the police,..â she trailed off as the phone rang.
After a few moments she listened and nodded âThanks.â hanging up she turned to her friend âThe company hadnât yet started clean up, police are turning it into a full blown investigation.â she sighed and sat down again âSo, Iâm likely out of a job.â
Okay, heâs okay.. Deep breaths. He goes to sit with the woman at the table. Right, that place will be a crime scene if the cops find the bodies. Burying his face in his hands, he attempts to let the rest of the grief exit his system. He now realizes that, in his haste, he left the rest of his flock behind. Hopefully everyone made it out all right.. âI, um.. I-I think weâre all out of jobs. The animatronics, they, uh.. The kids passed on, when he..â
Woah, woah, woah. Heâs assuming an awful lot here. They mustâve suspected something was going on, though, with the animatronics being bribable. Not to mention, if they know anything about technology, the place having highly sophisticated death robots in 1987 is a bit of a stretch. He looks up to gauge their reaction. âUh, how much do you know about what happened there? Because, you know, characters that advanced.. technically isnât possible yet.â
No harm in telling them, really, since the companyâs extremely unlikely to recover from this.. but, heâll give them a chance to connect the dots themselves. This coffee smells too nice to ignore. Heh. Funny, heâs drinking coffee to help himself calm down. With a sip and another sigh, he attempts to relax. âUgh. This is all just a huge mess.. Hopefully it ends here. What are you going to do now?â
She gave a snort âSometimes I see children, not machines. They move way too smoothly for animatronics and Iâve seen the insides of some of them, they arenât that advanced, I donât think anyone is. Iâve.. been researching, alot.â actually she knew quite a bit about robotics and animatronic technology now thanks to this job. âI found the articals about the missing kids, so.. I been wondering I just.. didnât think⊠didnât.. knowâŠâ she was shaking again. This was all just, too much really. It was going to take a bit to accept it all. ânow? I .. donât know, all the extra money I got on this job, well, I may go to school, maybe get a degree, robotics likely. heh.. I.. sort of developed an interest.âÂ

âIf you think you can, I would really rather not have to use my bat to push anyone over and make a run for hiding spots, the bosses donât like thatâ
And the evening went on. Kayla was methodical, there was a reason she lasted so long, and not just because she often bribes the animatronics like they were small children.
All right, time for this backup puppet to go into ârepairâ mode. With a nod, he quickly departs down the hallway. Letâs see what yanking the soul out of this thing does. Itâs always something different, so hopefully this time the bug happens to be child-sized.
The noise of something clambering into the vent emanates from the left side of the room. With a click of his beak, the owl briefly pokes his head out of the vent entrance. Anybody who tries to climb in through here will instead get a faceful of feathery backside.
Another night, another twenty dollars.. Letâs see how this shift goes. Making a bit of noise as he stretches and sighs, the owl patiently waits in the vent. âHiya, miss Kayla~. Youâve been faring well, I hope?â
She glanced back âWell enough. Yourself?â fluffy butt, she knew the owl had a name but for now he was forever âfeathery fluffybuttâ in her head.Â
OK this is just.. grrr

ATTENTION ARTISTS: Need help calculating your commission prices?
A tool that Iâve found is really handy is a called the Cash Clock. Itâs a simple program that measures both the time that youâre working on a piece as well as how much money you should be earning. You can adjust the hourly wage to whatever you feel is right. Simply start the clock whenever you begin working on a project right up until youâre finished. It can give you a clear indication of what you should charge for commissions.
No artist should make below minimum wage for their artwork.
The Cash Clock is found as a download here.Â

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE THIS INSTEAD OF CHARGING PEANUTS FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK.Â
Please, please, please at least make sure youâre making minimum wage.
Reblog even if Iâll never do commissions cause Iâm a shit at drawing and I think I could not be able to but help for others.
reblogging for poeple who still end up taking more time than I in commissions...Â
because once Iâm able to sit down and draw, it takes me all of.. 30 minutes to possibly an hour to finish most works unless you want paint..Â

20. My muse grabs their museâs wrists.
âWhere are you going?â Derian asked in a rather calm â or maybe it was emotionless â voice as he grabbed a hold of the girlâs wrists. She was acting strange and he couldnât help but wonder if sheâd seen something she maybe shouldnât have.
That made her blink at him âhuh? I heard you messing around in there. I just dropped off a box by the door, seriously people do weird stuff in that backroom and itâs not my business. Iâm not going to tell the bosses that you wank off during break.â she held up her hand, sure she could have put it more tactfully what she thought he was up to, but well, he was pissing her off, she was tired, running late and if she couldnât get out of this place in the next 15 she was not going to make it to the store before they closed.Â
And she needed a few hours sleep before they pulled another double on her. She just got off of one.Â
ââŠâ He just stared at her for a minute. Was she serious? If she was then maybe he wouldnât be cleaning up any blood tonight after all. He honestly didnât give a flip if she thought he was doing something like that, just as long as she didnât suspect what he was actually doing. Maybe he had gotten worked up over nothing, not that he was going to admit that.
He suddenly backed off, the intensity leaving his expression. âAlright.â
âYou done tantruming? Good.â she got up and headed off, really hoping he didnât go after her again, she was sure she had a bruise.Â
âassâ she muttered to herself. Seriously the guy needed to get laid.
Not that she was offering! No way in hell, she could see he was trouble.Â
And she wanted nothing to do with that.
Just had to work with the guy sometimes. And when he wasnât being a douche canoe, he was OK.Â
Not that he was ever more than barely cordial with her.

For all the artists out there
Youre telling me I threw away 10 dollar markers FOR NOTHING
REBLOG to save a life and a wallet!
Plus copics are actually refillable and you can buy more colored ink online for pretty cheap! So yeah dont throw out copics.
THIS DOESNT WORK. THIS MAKES THE MARKER LIGHTER.
Over time this can actually make your color lighter! Itâs like adding water to koolaid. The more water you add, the darker the color! DONT USE ALCOHOL TO REFILL COPICS! This can ruin the copic color inside, and make it less of the color it used to be! This should be used as a TEMPORARY solution. As in, only do this when you canât buy refills!! You CAN use this with PRISMACOLOR MARKERS. There are no refills with those, and so this solution would help, if only, again, short term. I wouldnât recommend this with copics, or any other marker unless short term. You wonât notice it at first, but over time it WILL make it lighter. The first few strokes will be the same, as shown in the paper, but over time it will get more and more diluted!!
For reference on what to do, and when to use this check out the artist BayleeJae, she does copic work all the time and has a video explaining this.
You sunk an entire cruise ship!?
Ashamed chittering as he flops to the floor and covers his eyes with his claws.
For a terrifying monstrosity of a ghost who can do things like that he sure does get upset easily.
She sighed rubbing her face âI.. could have bought you a burgerâ she said. âlets, get you home before they find us.âÂ
Vick nodded, following her back to the car. âIâm sorryâŠâ
âAt least no one was hurt. And they are claiming that there were alot of rats, so at least there is no monster huntâ and she took him towards home, stopping to get some burgers. Since he said he was hungry anyway.

she sat down just so heâd stop shoving her around âwhat is your problem? If you are wanting me to take your shift or something you could try asking.â it was becoming obvious she had no clue what he was upset about.Â
and she was too tired to realise likely how much trouble she was in.Â
He stood a bit too close to her, one hand on the desk. He ignored everything she said, clearly he had his mind set on something. âThree days ago, in the back room. You saw something, didnât you?â
That made her blink at him âhuh? I heard you messing around in there. I just dropped off a box by the door, seriously people do weird stuff in that backroom and itâs not my business. Timothy had to go in at nightâŠhe seriously had to go in at night. He thought he had found a way to stay off of the Night Shift, by hiring a new Night Guard- a good one, at that. Apparently had blackmail on Goldie involving dancing. Of course, now Tim found himself having to go in at Night, right after finishing Day ShiftâŠsomething about paperwork. He suspected The Boss just wanted him dead, at this point. Not that it stopped him as he entered The Pizzaria.
It was going to be one of those nights when she wasnât alone. That was always nice.Â
She meant that sarcastically.
Not many could handle the night shift. Hell there was one dude who would sneak in to turn up the aggressive settings of the animatronics, thus making for a nearly impossible night.
She was so glad when that guy bit the dust. Sure he was nice enough most the time but two trips to the hospital left her with a rather jaded view of him.
For Kayla, she survived by a mixture of treating the animatronics like people, and bribery. Bribes did wonderful things for making them lay off, at least, most nights.
there were those night though where no matter what she did it was just bunker down and do ones best just to survive.
Why did she stay with this job again?
Oh yeah, but this point to buy her silence she had really good pay and if after another month or two, she could definitely quit the job and have 4 years of college paid for.Â
Tim was silent as he snuck through the halls to The Guard Office. He chewed his lip all the whileâŠno sign of Chica (Thank whatever sadistic god there was) as he made his way up the hall, gently exhaling when he was sure the Chicken wasnât at the door to the office either. He peeked into the office to make sure someone was still in there, only slightly relieved when he decided there wasâŠno-use scaring them by going right inâŠhe decided to just gently knock on the security glass.
She looked up and frowned âDude, there only a couple moments before the shifts starts, get in here before someone turns you into pasty wall decorationsâ she said as she pulled over the other chair.Â
Tim was quick to enter the room and take his seat. âHehâŠthanksâŠI got a call ten minutes before going to bed about âcoming in to do paperworkââŠglad someone else was here.â Tim nodded. He was clearly nervous about being here.
She paused âYour voice sounds familiar.â it was a few minutes yet before midnight, so she wasnât watching the cameras yet. Mentally begging for the asshole to stay hidden tonight.
âI-It should. I make those phone messagesâŠwell, âmakeâ is a strong word, I have guideline for what I was supposed to cover in those tapesâŠI was m-mostly just reading exactly o-off that.â Tim admitted. He couldnât take credit for those whopping lies.
âyouâre the phone guy? Huh⊠well I can say thanks for the warning, it really felt like sometimes you were trying to say things off script.âÂ
âI-I was, a few timesâŠhard to get past management though.â Tim sighed. ââŠI even h-had to lie about the staying still thingâŠthey really donât want to pay people at the end of the weekâŠâ
âIâve noticed, youâd think come payday I killed payrollâs mom when I collect my check.â she responded.Â
