In the Fairly Oddparents, Wanda and Blonda's father is known as Big Daddy - his real name is never revealed. Now, I want to offer a possible, comedic explanation of how he got his title as Big Daddy.

Fairies have strange anatomy, such as their version of puberty, Pasta Puberty. However, I want to look at their reproduction. How Faires reproduce is very briefly brushed over by Cosmo and Wanda in the episode Fairly Oddbaby ; Wanda telling Timmy that it is the boy fairy that gets pregnant and gives birth and Cosmo talking about The Birds And The Bee Gees.

This means that Big Daddy was the one who gave birth to his twin daughters. When we saw Cosmo at full term, his stomach was as large as his body from his neck to his feet. Now, imagine Big Daddy with his twins. It is likely that he was roughly double that size, which might be how he was nicknamed Big Daddy.

TL;DR - Big Daddy is named Big Daddy because of his pregnancy with Wanda and Blonda.
