k/aeya + sakura: making each other blush.
happy birthday @mahotoai !!! / PERSONALS DO NOT INTERACT.
mahotoai / sakura.
Oh no. He’s closer. Fuck. She has no where to run, and no seat to slide too. Huffing to herself through fangs, she takes another sip of her drink. “Considering you could find more information at Angel’s Share in your line of work, I hardly think that’s the case, Kaeya Alberich.” She refuses to break eye contact, and yet her tail twitching behind her give away just how irritated in the best way possible he’s making her.
Kaeya glances back at the irritated twitch of her tail, and he makes no attempt to disguise his amusement. How incredibly easy it was to get a rise out of her. That’s what made playing with her so much fun. “ I’m off duty right now. And there’s something here that is far more interesting than any information I could glean from Angel’s Share, ” he explains, looking at her pointedly.
mahotoai / sakura.
He’d be absolutely correct. His smug attitude… and partially open shirt… With a deep breath to calm her nerves and a sip of her drink, she tries not to let her gaze wander, instead keeping focused brown gaze on his own. “Did Master Diluc kick you out of his tavern again?” She’s going to attempt and redirect the conversation.
Kaeya straightens up, then slides into the empty seat beside her. He’s clearly hit the nail on the head, if her shift in topic is any indication. For now, he’ll let her get away with that much, but her question is going to get her a noncommittal answer: “ Maybe I wanted to stop here instead of Angel’s Share. I find the atmosphere here to be quiet enjoyable, you know? ”
@mahotoai asked: Cue Sakura just casually sipping down her alcohol. She's tempted to reach for her bow, knowing full well Kaeya is entering HER tavern... Well, not necessarily HER tavern but close enough. "Kaeya Alberich, what can we do for you?" Slowly turns around like she's the Godfather, staring him straight in the eye.
The way that she visibly bristles in his presence delights him. Kaeya leans against the bar, charming lopsided grin and all. “ If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that you don’t want me around here. ”
@geostar asked: "the city of freedom, was it?" he muses, gloved hand raised to his chin and amber gaze fixated on the statue of barbatos. "though this was not always the case, i am aware. ah, please pardon me. i was to meet an old acquaintance at this site, however they appear to be running late. some things never change i suppose."
Mondstadt is no stranger to visitors from the other six nations, though there seems to be a rather strange influx of interesting characters as of late. First, the mysterious traveler who had worked their way into the hearts of many while in search for their missing family. Now, this stranger from Liyue who seems more than he appears to be. Not that Kaeya has much room to talk of another’s otherness. He had grown up in Mondstadt since he was a child, but even now he sticks out like a snapdragon in a field of dandelions.
His gaze is not cold so much as it is appraising, his smile easy-going. “ There’s some comfort in that, isn’t there? Some things never changing, even when the world keeps moving forward. ”
Your involvement in this just made things a whole lot more interesting.
