ANGLER: A downloadable game made in nine days for Game Boy Jam 5!

Help the anglerfish seek out and catch its prey, navigating undersea tunnels and avoiding dangers.

I helped create the music and sfx for this one. Thankfully, no white rectangles this time around. :) Go check it out here!

You are the DITTO FANDOM, subsidiary of NITROME LIMITED and currently SCARED FOR YOUR LIFE. Your interests include NOT DYING, MIRRORS, and MORE AVOIDING DEATH. You reside in the LAND OF DOUBLES AND DARKNESS, which you would like to point out is really not a fun place for a young girl to reside, or anyone for that matter. You have NO COMABT SKILLS, but you can avoid the PHANTOM CREATURES and MALICIOUS TRAPS of your land with the help of the STRANGE MIRROR-LIKE DEVICES scattered throughout as well as your ability to GLIDE THROUGH THE AIR.

LODAD is a GIGANTIC UNDERGROUND LABYRINTH with a single rumored exit, though luckily you can stay SOMEWHAT SANE by using one of the MIRROR GATES to travel to other players’ lands while your SHADOW holds down the fort at home.

Or perhaps it’s the other way around…?

Between “I got interested because it seems popular” and “I lost interest because it got popular,” I suppose the former is healthier. And between “I became a fan recently, but don’t know their older works yet” and “I’m a longtime fan, but don’t care about their recent works,” I suppose as a creator, yes, I’m more grateful for the former. …Or so I wrote, but it gave me a painful understanding of this feeling: “What I wanted was that poor kitten I can see from here, soaked in the rain. What I have here is a cute kitten, not soaked, which you put in my arms. This isn’t what I wanted.” (from The Foreign Duck, the Native Duck, and God in a Coin Locker).

Yoooo the soundtrack for Downstage Draft has now been released on Bandcamp!

The game itself has also received a couple updates, particularly fixing that bug where the player is, well, the actual protagonist and not a white rectangle. And also, not all levels were playable in the original jam version, thus why the music would overlap itself in the end. This issue is fixed now, too.
