so i usually dont do these kind of posts, i guess you could say its a call out of some sort? but i never liked that word, i prefer rather to just compile sources on WHY people would believe that a certain person is not truly as nice and understanding as they seem. consider this more of a psa post, detailing on whats going on with pazam on the sfm community, why so many people are against them.

hey! ty for making another post on this situation… however, referring to another point you made, i want to bring up another situation that happened. i was reminded of this because of the “whitewashing” thing.

so, back in january, when this happened, i was really active in the incredibles fandom. this situation particularly happened after my gf, @incredibleswiki​, sent pictures they colored in of some of the characters. the actual colors, i.e skin tone, hair, etc., are not seen in canon, minus in the “lego incredibles” game, and the comics. the picture we’re looking at most here is this one:

for those that arent into the incredibles fandom, this character’s name is blazestone. let it be known this is who we’re mostly referring to throughout all of this. my gf/ash/@incredibleswiki is “sammakku” in these screenshots, pazam is obviously “pazam”, and i’m “blazestones suit sucks” in blue. now lets get into this.

the conversation moved onto lighter topics after that. a while after, though, i dmed pazam to bring up something else that had upset me, and she said this:

…it was a much deeper thing than just “tan blazestone”. not to mention, this was 22 days later, and i had completely forgotten about that conversation anyways. 

thats… pretty much it. but i thought it was interesting to bring up though, now that you reminded me of it. if anyone needs this transcripted, lmk! i’m really sorry i dont have the ability to do that at this moment. sorry for taking over your post!

… wow. thanks for this addition, its definitely noted. something else, though, related to the whitewashing. around last night someone contacted me after id posted this and provided me with some interesting info. i dont know if said person is ok with me showing their messages or url so i wont post screenshots, just give a quick summary.

apparently pazam HAS responded to people who called her out on whitewashing before, and was apologetic, but also had justified it as ‘oh it was hard for me to get the colors right but i really tried, its also the filter i used’ or something along those lines… from what i am led to believe, pazam only did not respond my anon about it because it was an anon, and she would not be able to respond to it privately, like she did previously. basically, she did not want to have that on her blog, just like she didnt want to have the apology posts out.

i really don’t know how to feel about this, other than very… disconcerted. its clear she doesnt want to have anything that could threaten her reputation out in the open, and only responds in private to such accusations. either way, me and the person discussed a bit more, and we agreed if pazam can edit colors and filters, she could use one to make kamals skin look darker, or maybe even heighten the colors and bring a more vivid brown color in post, with a second layer of paint or even a pencil. it wouldnt be so hard.

which gives us more insight into the fk situation. this, coupled with the fact that she now went back on making fk 24 is rather suspicious.

i really wish i could give her the benefit of the doubt, many of these things would be easily fixable with some clear communication and specially her owning up to the situation, but she just evades it all. which does not look good for her side at all.
