Light & Shadows

This was taken at an art exhibition at SAM. It was about a series of photographs exploring what the artist’s feelings when thinking about the death of his parents. I walked two rounds and didn’t get what the artist was trying to show but big wall of light definitely caught my attention. It was the only thing I cared about actually. It’s interesting to see how versatile shadows and silhouettes can be. Void of any facial expressions or sign of emotion, you are forced to judge a photograph based on the model’s body language and posture.

Giving Cards to Strangers at Town

On Wednesday, our social media team went down to town to give out cards to passer bys and service staff all in the name of promoting good service.

This was done to raise awareness of our campaign.

All in all, had a great time with the team and we filmed down the process too.

Gen ed is as boring as usual, especially when u have Quek chee siong teaching u. A teacher that teaches as he pleases and ignores constructive advice given by students, draggy, non-punctual (in releasing us as otherclasses ALWAYS end 20 + minutes earlier than us).

TSI Event

Nervousness, shivered bones

Chapped lips, hoarse throats

shoulders slouched, and a hysterical heart.

Those were the conditions that i had before the start of my event. It has been a long half year of preparation, yet i still feel like we are not yet fully ready. Maybe given more time we would be able to do better. But still it has been a tough and arduous journey and i proud of my team to have been able to make it this far.

It all started out with little confidence, as my team and i are not as eager in leading due to the fear of pressure and stress, and the burden of having to shoulder the class mark and expectations.

But still, we exceeded our capabilities and manage to craft something out with our blood and for that i am thankful to my team.
