born on november 15th in seoul, south korea into a strict, hard-working family. due to his autism, his mother felt overwhelmed and placed him in an orphanage, where jaejoon learned to hide his emotions and trust almost no one. dancing and singing became his escape until the dark-haired man formed the band LUNEX with his friends, which now travels the whole world. on stage, jae is confident, charismatic and full of life. behind the scenes, however, he sometimes struggles with even the simplest conversations, being surrounded by large crowds, loud noises and expressing his own feelings. he often comes across as distant because of this and also always keeps a part of himself just out of reach.
