TOP10 goals of this week are opened by goal scored by Shmelyov, on which Arty got a beautiful assist.

There is a big interview with Arty posted on Atlant's website. He talks about his penalties and all the bans he gets; about his time with SKA; about his stay in America and his family; plus there are few questions about soccer and TV, too.
Alexey Michnov, Alexander Kadeykin and Arty, who apparently is doing his best Ovechkin impression, with cake that the Atlant players received from coaches as a New Year's present
X-Mas are coming up! Did you wish for your jersey with Arty's name? :)
Okay so, I am really really sorry this blog sort of freezed in time. I really am. But honestly, since I got to university, I don't actually have time for KHL at all.
I wanted to at least keep up with monthly updates, but I don't feel like it would make any good, since I barely see Arty play. However, I want to ask you to bear with me - after Christmas it *should* get all better and I am definitely planning to go back to keeping this blog running.

Arty finally hit the ice and took part in a game between blue and yellow team. His team lost. More photos (by Alexey Babenko) are here.
Arty got a bit sick, so he is spending his days riding the bike, instead of skating alongside his teammates. Coach Sergei Svetlov, however, claims that Arty will participate at the team's training camp in Czech Republic - the team is leaving on Sunday.
Arty's part of interview starts at 2:15.
Atlant Mytishchi started their medical exams yesterday, but the second group took them today, Arty included.
More info about Arty's team switching
Arty gave interview to sportsdaily.ru in which he mentioned few interesting things regarding the whole changing of the teams in KHL.
SKA apparently offered him 3 years deal
which he didn't sign because coach Jalonen "didn't see him on the team" - simply Arty felt like he would be only benchwarmer, which of course he didn't want to be
he said that through the season he talked to Jalonen many times, but nothing ever changed - Arty wanted more ice time and chances on PK and PP
he says that Atlant will fight for Gagarin Cup and that he is not worried about "taking a step back"
he still would like to come back to SKA some day
Artyukhin signed with Atlant Mytishchi
The deal should cover next two seasons.
Arty also gave short interview to Atlant's press service, in which he mentioned that he could and wanted to stay with SKA, but the snag in it was Finnish coach Jukka Jalonen. What he meant by that wasn't further explained.
All we can do is with Arty good luck with his new team. You don't have to worry, though, you will still be able to follow his career via this blog.
