I'm taking part in Giant Robot's group show, Rakugaki (which means "doodle" in Japanese). This year, I asked people on Instagram to suggest things they wanted me to draw. Thanks to everyone who responded! I wish I could have drawn all of the requests, but here are the three ideas I picked: - A frilly girl w/ a hime cut, maybe with bunnies or other plush toys - A woman with extremely long hair using a brush to detangle as she finds little aliens - Zombie Girls (I drew Aki & Akko , the zombie sisters from my comic, Cinderalla) The show opens on Saturday, March 14, starting with art available online and an online tour at 12:00 PM. The gallery will open to visitors at 1:00 PM, and a public reception will be held from 6:00–9:00 PM. (I won’t be able to attend the reception 🥲)

Thank you very much to everyone who visited the group exhibition “MANGAKA-E 漫画家・絵 展” held at the Isetan Shinjuku Art Gallery last December, and to those who purchased my work there. It had been a long time since I last exhibited in Japan and while I felt a bit nervous, I was really happy that my two original pencil drawings found their new owners. I am deeply grateful for the warm comments and messages I received from visitors. The framed giclée prints shown in the exhibition are now available through the Submarine Gallery online store. * Free shipping anywhere in Japan for a limited time! * Unfortunately, due to the current international shipping situation, they are temporarily unable to ship to the United States. Each artwork page includes commentary written by me. Hope you enjoy reading them along with the works.

Happy New Year everyone! 🎍 Last year began with some health issues and later came a leg injury, making it a year of many ups and downs. Still, there were plenty of bright moments, including creating a new comic and having a group show with the great Japanese artists, Katsuya Terada & Rockin' Jellybean . I’m truly grateful for all your love and support. Thank you so much! 🙇🏻♀️ My first event of 2026 is an exhibition of my silkscreen gig posters at Haight Street Art Center starting later this month and I plan to finally complete my tarot project which I began three years ago. More details coming soon… stay tuned!✨
My 2026 lemon pig and I are sending warm wishes for a healthy, joyful, and happy year ahead. 🍋🐷✨

Birth Of Paradise, one of the pieces I created for GOKURAKU : Paradise show is now available as a giclee print at Nucleus website! Click the button below to get your copy. Birth of Paradise (2025) A woman immersed in the bliss of creation — giving birth to snakes, trees, eggs, buildings, fish, and humans. This piece was inspired by Accouchement rose / Pink Birth (1964), a powerful work by my favorite artist, Niki de Saint Phalle . I was lucky enough to see the original in person once, and was completely overwhelmed by its scale and presence. Gokuraku Onsen: Paradise Hot Spring (2025) This piece was inspired by Japan's fascinating subculture of elaborately decorated trucks, known as dekotora , which have been around since the 1970s. I recently began a dekotora-themed painting series, and this second piece is centered around onsen (hot springs). Meanings of the words written on the truck: yu = hot water / hot bath / hot spring Onsen = hot spring Ii you dana. (This hot bath feels so good) — a line from a popular 1960s song about onsen Gokuraku = paradise Sakura = cherry blossom ゆ = the hiragana form of 湯 (hot water) ♨️ = the common “onsen mark” seen on maps and signs for public baths in Japan. Mystical (2018) I started sketching for this piece back in 2018 during a time when I was dealing with horrible anxiety. It took a long time to finish—but when I did, I felt like myself again.Funny thing is, I don't remember how this image came out of me. Looking at it now, I enjoy wondering “Who are these people, and what are exactly they doing...?” SOMA: Healer (2019) This piece features a nurse who heals using snake power. Looks like the patient was just exhausted— she only needed some encouragement from the snakes and a special energy pizza for a full recovery. Some people saw this and asked, “Is that girl being attacked by snakes?! ”I love how interpretations can vary so wildly...
