LISBON - PORTUGAL
The streets of Lisbon climb up and down the city’s many steep hills. On one street, just as the locals were heading home from work, a man decided to dance around the one of the side streets normally frequented by the funicular. He finished his dance, calmly picked up his bag, and went about his business.

This monument is located at the Tagus River estuary, in the parish of Santa Maria de Belém, Lisbon. It was built in 1939 to celebrate the Portuguese Age of Discovery (or Age of Exploration), depicting the explorers on the departing ships to India and Orient during the 15th and 16th centuries.
