An interactive music experience.

Shortly before British rapper Little Simz took the stage last night at the 3,000-year old Tower of David in Jerusalem, I asked her what venue was the most incredible she'd ever visited. 'This,' she said, barely hesitating. From the reaction of the crowd assembled for the show, one of the final productions of the FORBES 30 Under 30 EMEA Summit, it seemed that plenty of others shared her sentiments.

“MAE is honored … to create a first-of-its-kind live synced VR concert experience inside the historic Tower of David as part of the Forbes Under 30 Summit EMEA,” said Jacob Marshall, MAE’s drummer and an advisor to Vertigo, in a statement. “We humbly believe that co-existence, reconciliation and transcendence are messages best initially delivered in the language of inspiration, art and beauty.”

It has been three or four years already since I’ve first fallen in love with The Everglow by @whatismae. Since then, I’ve known more bands, listened to more artists, diversified my tastes. But like a traveller who have gone to different lands, I always find myself coming home to this.

And so, I kick off my 2016 with a yearly tradition: coming home to The Everglow. #theeverglow #happynewyear
