i wanted to ask !!!! does mae like animals or pet?? :D if so, would she keep a pet or two? ＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／

she does like animals! she had two family dogs and a cat growing up and has always had a soft spot for pets. she doesn't have any of her own for a long time (she's too poor to take care of one well for a while, then for a while after that her lifestyle just isn't compatible with one that requires too much maintenance), but i think when she's older in her ~post-canon era, she might get a little dog!

Mae não sabia bem o que fazer agora, estava subentendido que o evento de boas vindas dos calouros havia acabado e as massas se encaminhavam para outros locais sem grandes explicações. Saindo do ginásio, envolta de outras pessoas, a ruiva acabou por tropeçar nos próprios pés e esbarrar em alguém quando tentou se desvencilhar do movimento.

"Aiii me desculpa!" pediu envergonhada, porém quando levantou o olhar e reconheceu o rosto a sua frente, as bochechas coraram e o nervosismo piorou... muito. "Você estava na sala de teatro durante o tour! Nossa que vexame da minha parte! Você ta bem? Te machuquei? Começou super bem Mae, parabéns..." Ela ateou a tagarelar, as palavras escorregando rapidamente para fora da boca, sem grande pensamento prévio.

hello new friend!!! don’t worry AT ALL about being annoying (as mentioned in your other message) — you have no idea how much it thrills me to me able to talk about my ocs and their little ships!

so ik you’ve seen better call saul, but just to recap quickly and talk about where mae fits in: the main canon couple is jimmy mcgill and kim wexler (also known as mcwexler). and i ship them soooo hard, but i also want them both — so mae was created to make them a self-indulgent throuple 🥰

mae meets jimmy first, then meets kim via him. at that point in time, he and kim are complete and total soulmates already, just in a platonic sense (for now!!!); mae recognizes and supports this about them and loves them for it. some plot events happen blah blah blah and jimmy and mae move in with kim — they start acting married even if they haven’t made it Official yet. jimmy delves deeper into his career as a criminal defense lawyer and meets some shady characters. and then one night when they have to deal with one of those characters (you know exactly who lol), kim helps get the other two out of danger, and they’re like oh my god can we just kiss already??? and then they do!!! and from then on they’re an official item.

as for kimmae specifically, their dynamic within the ot3 is really special to me 💖 mae is an actor and burlesque dancer who has a whole big group of colorful queer friends and is very comfortable with her sexuality and enjoys being the center of attention and generally brings some spice to life, whereas yk kim is a lawyer who very much adheres to a (fashionable, but still) businesswear wardrobe most of the time and makes an effort to put forward a professional appearance and vibe and lives in a world that’s very buttoned-up and often intellectual. so they learn a lot from each other! mae learns when it’s smart not to give into her initial impulses, and kim lets her wild side out a little more frequently (and occasionally in healthier ways than in canon)!
