Through the looking glass

It was so very quiet at his new base. Hardly anyone came by to speak with him anymore, but Chris knew that there was one person he could talk to whenever he wanted. That person greeted him every morning with a warm, familiar smile, stood patiently in the bathroom and shaved with him, and was there to cheer him up first thing in the morning.

Just like he’d been doing for the past four decades.

I've never reblogged fanfiction before (though granted I haven't found any on Tumblr, and the only other way I could do it is link out and that gets all awkward and... I dunno, I'll have a think, suggestions welcome) but spycest is spycest! Any other Spycest fanfiction on here (if anyone knows of any) is welcome to get reblogged! C:

Aye, Mirror Agnosia is really interesting, imho. You don't recognize anything in the mirror. There was a test done that they put a pen behind a patient facing a mirror and asked him to grab it. Rather than going for the pen behind him, he tried to reach in the mirror and take it. Another had been holding a conversation with his mirror self for years, even knowing he had the corner apartment and thus couldn't. I haven't really written about him and his mirror problem, but this does give me ideas.

It is very interesting! Just watch me sit here and lose the rest of the evening reading up about it.

Though I suppose it must be quite scary for people with the condition. Not to be able to recognise your own face, or the faces of your loved ones... ono

Wow, that last spy one with the mirror. Considering I have a Spy with Mirror Agnosia, which is a condition that makes it so you don't recognize things in mirrors and can make it so you see your reflection as another person entirely, I now ship my Spy and his reflection. :| Thanks guys~<3

That's really interesting! ouoI've heard of Facial Agnosia before, but I wasn't aware it could apply to yourself too!

But you know, I reckon Spy is such a narcissist, his greatest love is probably himself!
