I drew some headcanon designs for some watership down bunnies...

These are based specifically the bunnies from the book, where Clover is described as a short-haired angora and Haystack a himalayan

Still obsessed with the movie Efrafans purple eyeliner like PURRR they ate so bad idc idc peak character designs it clashed with the cyan eyes and dark fur so well Hyzenthlay never looked better tbh 😝😝😝 what they really need to do is feed into that calico strawberry propaganda, like his name is just SCREAMING for him to have some sort of spots that resemble seeds! Also hella off topic mate sorry but adaptations really need to stop being afraid of making Strawberry the absolute unit he is, that’s a CHONKER a big boi!!!!!! Make him at least the same size as Bigwig, Woundwort I can understand but come on! AND YES THAT GOES FOR MINI SERIES STRAWBERRY AS WELL! 😔😔😔 like #thatsnotmystrawberry where’s my big beautiful cuddly pumpkin??? I also love how most adaptations agree that Dandelion is at least some shade of yellow at the very most

GENUINELY they are so pretty, purple Hyz is THE Hyzenthlay to me, I love her dark color scheme, I love her eyeliner, NOBODY is doing it like movie Hyz! Icon fr

I think the "spots that resemble seeds" is what the graphic novel was going for with Strawberry and I LOVE IT! His lil freckles are so cute <3

but also YES YES LET STRAWBERRY BE FAT HES CANONICALLY FAT!! The Wire rabbits didn't get described as "as big as hares" and "fat and sleek" for nothing! Miniseries!Strawberry is at least bigger than the wild rabbits, but they're so skin-and-bones it really doesn't amount to much 😭
