I think she must - she’s a pragmatic person, but having pretty much all of her most traumatic experiences linked to moon symbolism (her “defective” hatching and the abusive institution she was raised in) would surely create a bit of negative association. As for the ACTUAL moons I can imagine a younger Haunted would have a bit of a fixation on them. She was somewhat in the dark about what “causes” NightWing powers and had a fantasy of travelling somewhere far away, and the moon probably seemed like a prime location.

I think it was a slow development to sudden realisation type deal. After Wolf healed up whilst staying with Mako they both kept inventing reasons why he should stay for longer, too embarrassed to admit they just enjoyed each other’s company.

Mako is not particularly the type to introspect and romance felt incredibly small after everything he’d been through - so I think he was definitely surprised when he realised.

Hey bogcreacher I just got to say that you might be my favorite wof/warrior cats artist. I can’t really describe why I think it’s because your art has that “relaxed” vibe.Like almost all your pieces have that chill,playfulness to it.Anyways I have a question if you don’t mind.A few months ago you were active on bluesky but almost all your work just disappeared.Was there a reason why like if it wasn’t working out?
