Walked a little farther away from the crowd, climbed through boulders of rocks and traipsed around nowhere to find this sweet little perfect spot with not a single soul in it. 👣

The dark clouds suddenly opened up to reveal a moment of bliss. Just a glimpse; so fleeting - and soulful.

Walk somewhere farther than where the crowd is. 👣

Here's to pushing thru with this trip and ending your travel hiatus; to nearly bailing out on me, but not (yup, NGO work sometimes sucks this way); to missed sunrise and sunset; to more temples and castles, to braving the dangerous, right-hand-drive streets of jogja on a bike and a motorcycle; to getting lost in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere with empty phone batteries (thank you, Waze); and to your Miss Universe (not my words) appeal that gave us free tour of the Taman Sari, and ended up having an amazing time drinking luwak coffee and meeting wonderful people; to arguing a lot and bullying each other, a lot; to sharing stories and experiences with locals and other travelers we meet.
