• STATUS : closed. ( @fulloflcve) • LOCATION : anywhere in arconia • FEATURING : nova & layla.
⠀⠀୨୧ ❛ Oh god! Please tell me you haven’t just heard me talk to myself. ❜ Nova looked over at the young woman. ❛ please tell me you don't think I'm crazy? ❜
there was a quiet laugh before smiling and giving a nod. “oh, i did, but don't worry. i don't think you're crazy, i promise. maybe a little weird though. has something been bothering you lately?" or is this a usual occurance? she wanted to ask, but kept that question to herself.
• STATUS : closed. ( @fulloflcve) • LOCATION : anywhere in arconia • FEATURING : delilah & layla.
⠀⠀୨୧ Delilah was just minding her own business when she noticed the young woman looking over at her. ❛ I just wanted to say that I really like your outfit. ❜ Delilah smiled at the young woman.
spending some time over at purrs & pour, she mainly wanted to get out of the apartment and focus on one of her favorite hobbies: writing. after taking some time scribbling on a notebook, she glanced around the area before hearing a compliment coming from delilah. a smile showed before she could reply, “thanks. i like your outfit too." it may have been a cliche thing to ask, but she didn't care and continued with, “do you come here often?”
vera can’t pretend like she’s not completely half spaced out, but when the other girl speaks; she’s snapping out of it, features tired, her face calm. “yeah, uh, if they aren’t out there? i’ll go check in the back!”
there's a bright smile shown on her face after listening to vera's response. “alright, cool. just take your time. i'm not in a rush anyway.” within seconds, she leaned against the counter before glancing around, mainly contemplating if there was anything else she needed. “oh! but if you don't have any, that's okay too.”
location: the elevator status: open to anyone !
"come on," lorenzo essentially whined as he repeatedly jammed his finger into the up bottom, casting a brief glance at the empty lobby. a rarity, he'd come to realize in his short time at the arconia - and definitely one he treasured. almost as much as he treasured a solitary elevator ride. of course, it didn't seem like he'd be so lucky as to experience both back to back, not with the elevator taking so long. "finally," he muttered as the elevator arrived, his hand already outstretched to press the close door button when someone follows him in. "going up?" he asks, trying to hide his annoyance as he jabs the button for the twelve floor.
after getting off work, layla spent her free time grabbing groceries. sure, she could have ordered them online and have them delivered, but it was nice to go out and be surrounded by others who weren't her roommates. plus, she wanted to pickout the produce herself rather than rely on someone who may grab anything they first lay their eyes on. once she noticed the elevator opening, she rushed to be inside before placing multiple bags down an catching her breath. “6th please,” she spoke in between gasps.
who: vera + open ! where: the corner store ! fatigue has taken over as is, or maybe she'd just never woken up properly, who could be sure, but a yawn is expelled, and she blinks blurry blue eyes as she stands behind the counter, vision only refocusing when a patron catches her eye. "hi!" friendly, always although her cheer leaves something to be desired. "can i help you with something?"
after going through the snack aisles, layla was searching for something specific. unfortunately, not being able to find it, her lips turned to a small frown before heading to the closest employee she could spot out. leaning slightly against the counter, she showed a polite smile. “hey,” she spoke with a friendly tone. “i was wondering… do you still have any chips ahoy cookies?”
sabrina exhales through her nose, something like a laugh but quieter, more thoughtful. she shifts her weight, arms folding loosely as if settling into the conversation rather than bracing for it. “if it’s the end of the world,” she says after a beat, measured, almost amused, “i think i’d be disappointed more than anything. like—this is how it goes out? weather and inconvenience?” her head tilts, eyes flicking briefly toward the window before returning to jackie. “and if we’re stuck here for a while?” a small shrug. “then we’re stuck. people always think boredom is the worst outcome, but honestly… that’s when everyone finally slows down enough to show who they actually are.” a faint smile tugs at her mouth. “besides, boredom’s survivable. panic just makes it louder.”
getting as comfortable into her spot as possible, she leaned back against the seat before crossing her arms. “you do have a good point," she agreed with a nod. “if you could choose on how we go down, what would you want?" her nose scrunched momentarily, giving herself a few seconds to think. “i think i'd want an apocalypse to happen. sure, it'd be terrifying, but interesting at the same time."
her head shook at sabrina's statement about boredom not being the worst. maybe it was due to jackie always having something to do that she couldn't stand just sitting around, being idle while waiting for the storm to pass. “maybe, but if power goes out, then what else is there to do? play a few board games?” it may be entertaining, but she felt she had work to catch up on.
tabitha tilted her head, studying them for a beat before lifting a hand to her own hair, lightly adjusting a strand near her temple. the gesture was small, illustrative—more suggestion than instruction. “exactly as you are,” she said easily. “don’t fix anything.” she repeated the motion once, glancing back to them. “something like this would make you look even better. not different—just more you.”
when it comes to appearance, jackie was usually picky. although she had a major focus on anything paranormal and creating content around it, she also adored anything involving beauty. which was a reason why she was hesitant to go to tabitha. her usual hair stylist wasn't available, so she was the next option, sadly. frowning slightly, she glanced between her and mirror. “are you sure about this? maybe this was a bad idea.”
[ ✽ ] 𓏹 STARTER open to everyone ! [ ✽ ] 𓏹 LOCATION black history month pop-up market .
in front of a stand full of food and exhibiting a variety of wine bottles, cordelia stood with her back straight and her expression pensive. she took one of the bottles, read the label, and put it back on the table. then did the same with two more. she sighed, vacillating, and took the second bottle again, turning to the person at her left — she wasn’t the kind of person to ask for others' opinions, nor someone to be indecisive, but today seemed like an unusual day, so she did it. “ what do you think ? pinot noir or merlot ? ” her question was soft, yet her frustration could be heard in the words. “ i can’t decide for the life of me. ”
it felt very mundane to her, going out to a market and buying produce. it didn't feel quite as exciting as what she was used to, yet she was trying to do better. now that she's chosen to let go of her previous life for now, she's been trying to get into a better routine and keep positive habits. while skimming through a few items, her head turned toward where the voice was coming from. a small smile appeared automatically before replying with, “i'd go with pinot noir, but i guess it depends on what you're in the mood for."

Synopsis: Pasha shows up at your character’s door (please assume connections) and asks to crash on the couch.
Having five roommates had it’s challenges. The bathrooms were always crowded unless you got there early, food was crammed into all corners of the fridge and sometimes the space was just too loud to sleep - tonight was one of those nights. Pasha stared directly at his ceiling. He tried putting headphones on, but he couldn’t turn his head with them on. He tired a pillow over his head but the sound still leaked through. Enough was enough. He took his favorite pillow, slid on his slippers and walked out of his apartment through the building to his friend’s doorstep. He knocked and waited for the person to answer.
it was a good thing layla usually stayed up late at night, either scrolling on social media, watching a movie or show, or being out for the night. so luckily she was already in and cozy on the couch. however, she was surprised to hear a sudden knock. none of her roommates mentioned someone stopping by and she didn't invite anyone either. gradually, the door opened before giving a slightly confused look. “is everything okay?” she asked softly, wanting to make sure others at home wouldn't wake up.
sabrina stirred her coffee slowly, letting the spoon trace lazy circles in the mug. the blizzard warning on her phone buzzed again, but she barely flinched. “a blizzard,” she muttered, more amused than worried, watching people hustle past on the sidewalk below, bundled like snowmen. she took a sip and let the warmth settle. “everyone’s panicking like it’s the end of the world,” she said quietly, a faint smile tugging at her lips. “i grew up with this… it’s just snow.”
as much as she thought the idea of an end of the world was fascinating, she chose not to let the excitement get to her. “but what if it is the end of the world? what would you do about it?” jackie inquired, arching an eyebrow. “or what if we end up being stuck here for a while? hopefully that won't be the case though, because i think i'd get bored easily.”
