I've dumped some info here before but I can send more things!

He's the son of a sun god; born from the blessed fires of a blacksmith's hearth who was also melting a zhanmadao (horse cutting blade)

He was gifted a spear from his father at birth and so he grew up with it, learning how to use and wield it.

He bleeds molten iron

He can take the form of a red horse and a centaur

People burn horse statues in honor of him before heading into battle

He carries an eternal flame inside his body that releases through his back (which looks like a ponytail and a horse tail). Nothing can extinguish it.

Anything he burns with his flames (even accidentally) cannot be repaired. It is a permanent effect. (That's why Mu Yang still has his fuckass haircut after Yisui burned it lolol)

His right eye was injured by Mu Yang

He does better with controlling his flames now, but he was wild as a kid. And even now, it's still hard for him to control it.

He wears his heart on his sleeve. It's like his face has subtitles. It's very easy to read his emotions.

He is a younger half brother of Mu Yang

He is taller than Mu Yang

If he were to have a darling/love, his nickname for them would be his "flame".

Hello again!!! My day has been good so far, ty for asking!

That's a good question, I absolutely love writing (and drawing) supernatural like things. Horror, mostly, and bonus points if it's folklore related. Monster boys/girls too...my kryptonite 🤤

I've always loved horror movies and games growing up, so that's why alot of what I write and draw is in that genre.

I've been super interested in asian folklore too, because I am a Chinese/Viet diaspora. Alot of my ocs (that I don't really post here lol) are influenced by folklore from the past. I love traditional attire too, so many of my character designs are loosely Việt phục or hanfu inspired.

I started posting on this blog though because I've always loved yandere characters and the trope, and I've always wanted write about it/make my own ocs/draw fanart--I've just been too scared to post it on other social media LOL. So I come to tumblr and see all these blogs doing exactly that and a community that likes the same things I do! It's quite refreshing to see, and it makes me happy to post my characters and see them all loved by you. Truly, it means alot!

I put it in quotes cuz to me it's not what most people think of rendered finished art cuz my style is still so sketchy n messy 🗿 ahaha

Mm now that we have upset Mu yang I'd like to know about soft Mu yang? In particular how he shows his love for darling, aside from being a general asshole(i love him). Like love language, clinginess, things like that?

Great question!

Mu Yang isn't known for his softness, but he will show affections to his darling. He likes embracing them in his arms, especially laying down, things like playing with their hair or one arm always wrapped around their stomach.

He's quite clingy in bed, most of the time it's unconscious and he himself doesn't realize it. If you need to get up for whatever reason and he's still "sleeping" (more like a trance-like state) for example, his long ass tail will drag you right back into his arms LOL

He's also capable of dishing out baby doses of misfortune if he doesn't feel like being a menacing asshole. Things like stepping on a lego or tripping on nothing. This is saved for someone bothering darling but not enough so to incur his full wrath, but it's also to show darling he's always watching them and he's "got their back." (So why would you ever try to run away, right?)

Fumble sorry for bothering uuuuu but I'm curious about something, we all know that mu yang is super strong (being a god and all) so from ur characters can u perhaps tell us top 3 strongest,and perhaps could u tell us who's force come to naturally when dealing with darling (sorryyy English ain't my first language as u can tell)

Mu Yin (fortune)

Mu Yang (misfortune)

And in that order too, I'd say.

For the 2nd part of your question, do you mean who protects their darling the best naturally? If it's my ocs in general, Yisui. He's so sweet.

If it's specifically yandere ocs thennn I'd say Vinh. He specifically targets people who bother you (even over the slightest things lmao)

Other miscellaneous facts:

He is a shapeshifter. He can take the form of a black dragon, black snake, black goat, and white rabbit

He bleeds ink

The only people allowed to see his face are his darling and his twin brother. (And Yisui too...hesitantly)

You will rarely see him frown. Almost always smiling. Smug look on his face like 24/7. (Save for the rare moments he gets upset)

Gaslight and gatekeeps his darling

He's able to bind things with his talismans

Tail swishes when he's happy. And he likes trapping his darling with his tail too.

Dom leaning...capable of being a sub, but he definitely prefers being the one in charge. He also likes to be pampered too...like a god should be.

Likes being looked up at. Especially when his darling looks up to his face.

Do not bring up his embarrassing loss against that battle with Yisui. Like. Ever.

Constantly smells like incense. You'll know he's around if you smell it and nothing is burning.

He finds his darling who is smaller than him (trust me, he's real tall, being a god and all) cute, especially in his arms.

Hug away! He prefers being the one to do the hugging/embracing though. Likes seeing you all caged in his arms...mmm

Good question!

He'd laugh and love to see you try. It took alot to seal him, and that was by a professional who knew what they were doing. He really doesn't think you'd be able to do it, but he'd find the effort amusing. Tease you about it, even. Like a little cat trying to be fierce in front of a lion: a valiant effort, but one in vain. However, the chances are never zero. Just on the off-chance that you might succeed, he'd do his usual thing:

"Perish the thought." he'd say. Feign hurt.

"How sad...I've done so much for you, and you want to be rid of me?" Guilt-tripping 101.

Listen well: hubris is his downfall. Take advantage of that fact.

Once it becomes more serious though...

An upset Mu Yang is terrifying. All bets are off. Your friends, family, anyone who dares breathe the air in the same vicinity as you. Oh you think he'll kill them? That's too easy. Misfortune doesn't always mean death--no, no.

A major illness. An accident that leaves someone barely alive. Their loved ones dying. He'll make their lives a living hell. And it'll be all your fault.

You should have known better than to cage misfortune in a box. It all comes back out eventually.

So be good and don't even think about it. Ok?

He is cruel, but not unforgiving. He knows you'll come crawling back to him anyways.
